@Ash-cb8qu They are still my favorite headphones for gaming and for music. Ear cushions and headband are very comfortable an d the sound is magnificant.
They sound ok...they need EQ. I know they arent in the same price range but they are close is the Sundara, and compared to the Sundara they sound pretty bad, sloppy, muddy. Sound stage is weird and things that are supposed to be in front of you will sound behind you. If youc an get them on sale like 150 mark...then its a good buy, anything more and you can find better.
The X3 looks nice but is it really worth more than double the X2HR? I've also heard that the cables on the cups have a weird recess. Does that mean you can only use the Philips cable?
It's on sale for 249 at Amazon right now for prime day I have a feeling it may go on sale again during black Friday At 249, I'd totally get it but knowing that the sounds signature and experience will be slightly different from the x2hr Also there are no recess that I noticed for the cables so you should be able to swap them out
@@x-techgaming lucky you. I've been looking for the TYGR 300R. sold out on their website. I'll be using mainly for gaming. Some music and youtube content. Mainly gaming though.
What I dont understand is most of these reviewers keep talking about how comfortable when each person head is different. Number 2 - explaining open back HP? If someone dropping $350 on a HP they know exactly what they are getting into. Number 3 - telling viewers what HP accessories included? Seriously, it on the description of the advertise page. Number 4 - trying to explain the design and architechure of a HP in your own opinion. Why? Number 5 - just be direct and get to the point, especially you are just stating your opinion of what translate of your hearing instead of actual sound demo.
Great job, thank you. My set is arriving tomorrow...on sale via Amazon $169.

Are they really that much better than the x2hr?
Because if not, there's no reason to upgrade

any recommendations for a microphone to go with a the x3 or should i just a standalone mic ?
I own the x2hr.
Love them
My question is,
If the x3 is very similar in sound quality, whats the point of upgrading?
