- In an era of deep political divide, half of registered voters in the U.S. said they expect to have difficulty casting their ballot in the 2020 presidential election between President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden. Coronavirus and social distancing have only added to the complexities of voting, with millions expected to vote by mail for the first time and all but about a half-dozen states allowing some type of early in-person voting. So with fears of voter intimidation, outdated election machines and mail-in ballot fraud, just how secure are American elections and what safeguards are in place to protect the results? I voted in person weeks ago, line was short and my vote remained anonymous (though Google has enough data to guess my vote 😅). Very easy process with fast moving line.

The number of rejected votes from mail-in voting is one of the two big problems, with the other being the idea of sending out ballots that are not requested (not everyone votes and not everyone wants to vote). If you need to vote by mail, you should be able to request a ballot and then you are responsible for filling it out and for it getting to where it needs to be on time. Voting in person, with identification, is the most secure option and is what I will do.
Voting doesn’t matter if the Supreme Court is going to decide it in the end anyway.

Can Anyone with a reasonable argument defend what the Pennsylvania court attempted to do, wasn't to allow cheating?
The court attempted to change the laws of the electoral process. The Pennsylvania supreme court ruled that ballots could be counted up to 3 days after the election. The state legislature did not create this new law, the Pennsylvania supreme court created this law themselves. The Pennsylvania supreme court, then took their legislative process several steps further. They created a few more new voting laws. 1) Ballots no longer require signature verification. 2) Ballots are no longer required to be post marked, and if no post mark is on the ballot, it should be assumed the ballot was mailed before the 3 days after the election deadline.

mail-in or drop off, once it leaves my hands I have no accountability of it and there is no transparency - need some sort of blockchain voting system, I can cast or remove my vote and see that reflected on a local, state, and national level for lets say 1 day - at the end of the day votes are locked in.
I’m from MA and I can track my ballot and see that it is counted so maybe google if there is a way to do that for your state

I think there should be a voting pole for people that don't trust neither party... The reason why is because without a pole that can reject both party's we're forced to except one or the other, when we should have a choice/vote to reject or disapprove of both party's if we don't trust or agree with their stance. Now can you see the trick.... So without a neutral voting poll for those that decline the candidates offer, we're basically forcing these presidents upon the majority aka the masses, when we don't even have a pole to see if the masses or the majority of people are even wanting either candidate.
Well I'm talking about a neutral voting booth not a party. For example if there was 10 party's we would still need a neutral voting booth for those that don't agree with neither party.

Congress has the senate which protects smaller states. President is elected by the electoral college which gives smaller states importance and value in the national level.

But it's not a true national popular vote where one person equals one vote contributing to the total national scale... It's still keeping the electoral college, my state would still have 9 Electoral Votes, but they will distribute those votes based on who is receiving the most votes on a national level, as opposed to on the state level. It seems odd.

Absentee voting is secure. States that have adopted full scale mail out ballots without requiring a mail in request for an absentee ballot are something new - and something very dangerous. Should not have been allowed.

How to reach the polling booth: wear a large white sheet over yourself and walk right in. No one will bother you, but at least you'll be able to cast your vote.
