the orange egg is called kwek-kwek, quail egg sya. and they color the coating so the food will look more appealing, sometimes its yellow, and you should try it too next time

I hope you would have time to visit some historical sites in the Philippines. I will suggest a few places like 1) Corregidor Island also known as the Island Fortress, 2) Secret Underground War Tunnels of Fort Bonifacio (BGC), and 3) The cavernous El Deposito in San Juan City Metro Manila which is one of the oldest underground reservoirs in the world. I highly encourage you also to visit some museums in the Metro Manila to understand better the socio-cultural and historical aspect of the country. I recommend 1) Ayala Museum in Makati, 2)National Museum Manila, 3) and The Lights And Sound Museum in Intramuros Manila. Enjoy your stay and stay safe.
