To cut Dynema, webbing and fiberglass, get a pair of shears for Kevlar (look just like scissors) . I've got two pairs of Clauss 18425 8" Bent Kevlar Shears (one at home, one on the boat). These cut the tough stuff. Well worth having.
Also I think if I were at sea and needed to replace a damaged reef point in a hurry, I'd use webbing but after several loops I'd tie a big ugly knot. If tied properly I think it'd hold. Webbing is really great stuff. Tubular nylon is the strongest. I made leg loops for my PFDs. One end is a sewn loop (and carabiner), but the other end is just a knot tied to a carabiner. This allows the length and fit to be adjustable. Compared with the plastic clips on my more expensive Spinlock they might be too strong. In an emergency I could clip someone into the helicopter cable and never worry if they'll hold.

Hi, I hope someone can help. I was cleaning my white coloured nylon sail today. After cleaning, I could see that there was still a lot of mould. I used a mould cleaner/spray that removed the mould but unfortunately has bleached it and now it’s partly yellow any thoughts on how I could rectify this yellow bleach stain. Thank you.
