Also, I'm sensing a Max and Tymon situation where both Xuanyi and YiHeng are chasing sub-4, just as how Tymon and Max were aiming for sub-5, with that one ending with Tymon winning.
even if you do frame by frame analysis, you can see that he wasn't holding the cube and his fingers didn't stop a possible +2 so it doesn't break the spirit of the rule, his body is just too small to drop it far enough without having to toss the cube for him to always stop the timer with enough clearance
I always wonder how smooth these cube glide. “Back in the days” our cubes always locked up and were quirky. And I needed minutes, not seconds. Still wondering how this “whole new shit” (for me) works.
Xuanyi is better than Yiheng at his age, but many people forget that yiheng was in lockdown for almost 2 years. It also affected him in 2023 and at the World Cup. He could have had the world record at the age of 8. 2025 will be the best for yiheng, he will hold the wr, win the title and sub4. Xuanyi is awesome, but second place is nice too...
I turned the audio to the french autotranscrtiption and there is that part at 00:42 "ce ne serait pas une vidéo de stecube sans une controverse sur les enfants" that killed me 🤣
Kids have very agile fingers and good memory. If they keep breaking records, cubing will get over as a sport for kids. I think only child prodigies can break Max Park's record. Edit:subbed
Well, it only seems that Yiheng is being forced to learn ZBLL, if he does and dominates it, it is over.. with his TPS we'll be talking about sub 3s very soon.. Crazy!
well there has to be a physical material limit of the cube and a physical speed limit of a human. I think he will approach what is humanly possible. This video was insane he was so fast it is crazy. I can solve a cube in like 4 minutes. But I just learned a 7 step process and did my first solve less than 2 weeks ago. I now have a speed cube and am in search of what I need to learn to progress and make a sub 1 minute. But I am proud to say in my 40's I solved a cube and can now do so consistently. It was always on my bucket list of things to learn and I finally did it. Good for you making a 15s average.
As 2025 is coming closer, the sub 4 avg race has begun. The race that will end every 3x3 average race ever. Who will get the title of the first human to get a sub 4 average? Let's see in 2025
Help..Just found this channel. Where do I go to learn to get faster at solving. Few weeks back I for the first time learned to solve. I can now consistently solve using the 7 step method but it takes me 4 minutes. I am not hoping to get anything even close to what I just saw, mind f-ing blown!!!, but I do want to progress to the next level as solving has now become pretty trivial following the steps. Can someone point me in the next direction of what I should learn to get faster? Goal sub 1 minute. Thanks. Again this video is absolutely insane that kid is so fast.
Yiheng has to learn zbll to be relevant. Sooner or later xuanyi will be number 1 for a very long time. All future cubers must learn zbll to break any records in the future. I think xuanyi can average 3.6 seconds in his peak if he makes his moves faster, with alot more years of practice.
@@EliteCubingAlliance was it that obvious, it is a hybrid actually, I don't know full pll and my cfop average solve move count is around 49 and for roux its 46

I can’t believe tymon was the bay harbor Rubix cube
Wild bagel
A 43 average move count is crazy! And a lot can happen in 6 months. The only surprise at Worlds would be if we don't see any surprises.
The bogeyman of cubing is the best description of Xuanyi. It would be awesome to see him explain how he plans in inspection. Just wild!
The wca will end up having only three Chinese kids doing 3x3 and everyone else doing FMC
as if xuanyi isn't already doing speed fmc
What is FMC?

if I’m not mistaken I’d heard xuanyi doesn’t/didn’t know pll so he might’ve used an alternate alg to prevent the skip
What.
There’s gotta be a esport/hobby that kids can’t best adults. Or hopefully we can keep making these kids even younger than these 😂😂
