They run, and run and run, until all the others have killed you, or you let go recharge their shields. My favorite.
Any Badass or higher Varkid is awful at any level in the game. Unless you have corrosive resist or an adaptive shield, one hit can kill you, and then they just fly off.
The giant orc duke is an absolute pain to deal with. Way harder than badass iron Gollum. The one place u encounter the Gollum you can kill from afar with taking no damage.
Here's a trick to fighting PWR Loaders. Run right up to them and make them melee. It has such a long and obvious start up for its attach that you'll be able to pull away and shoot it's joints.
I think Ion Loaders can actually be pretty useful. Other Loaders crowd under the shield, but throwing a singularity grenade will force them out of the shield and hit all/most of them at once. If the grenade doesn't kill them, now they're nicely bunched together for a rocket launcher attack.
Strelok (the Tf2 Metalhead) constructors are mostly stationary and have a huge crit spot. Also you can hide pretty well against them and they mostly spawn gun loaders and drones. Which both are usually not to tough to deal with.
I think the amount you actually face these enemies is a factor, you don't run into constructors often, they have a clear critical spot so its pretty obvious why they aren't on the list
Varkids from badass up to ulimate badass are pretty formiable to deal with too provided you are not paying attention to the varkids in the back evolving.
DANK DUCK I came here to sigh at all the comments mentioning about people being first since I think all comments mentioning this is worthless (yes I know my comment is ironic and counter-productive).
I love the fact that the world has a really good and not annoying active borderlands player/youtuber. I appreciate all the videos. You should do build videos for each character(in new to the channel so I haven't check all your vids)
Young Jesus Derch and Joltz are annoying to listen to IMO. Barhoo doesn't do all that much BL2 anymore and Fiber is NOT active xD. But I'm just sayin my opinion. You can like whoever you want it's cool.
My 5 least favorite mob enemies, least favorite on bottom: 5. Any chubby/tubby enemy 4. Badass varkids 3. Heavy nomads 2. Armored/Ironclad psychos 1. Rabid skags and stalkers Bonus: Fucking marauders, every single fucking time I'm in fight for my life they run off like they're being called for dinner and it's annoying as fuck.
You mention that the best way to deal with brittle skeletons is with explosives. Isn't the point of brittle skeletons that they are brittle and VERY vulnerable to melee? Maybe that isn't as viable in UVHM I guess.
I wholeheartedly agree on Rabid enemies as a whole. Fucking annoying and hard as hell to kill in most circumstances. Also, while I do think that Wormhole Threshers are a pain, its gotta be the Pyre Threshers that I loathe the most.
Goliaths? Those guys are actually pretty easy and make for a good distraction in larger bandit camps. I´m plaing assassin and I am always happy to let a Goliath do all the work, and then finish him of when he´s done and nearly dead and also on a high level which means a lot of XP....
Dark Souls with guns? Heck no, I've played and cleared every Dark Souls. And UTVH is way harder, unless you farm for the stupidly OP weapons (Norfleet etc...)
When I was early in borderlands, somewhat level 11-13 I found a grenade that does about 5600 damage, it was so overpowered, I mean, when I was in the doc mercy boss fight, I threw the grenade as soon as he came out and he died midway of his dialogue. I died of laughter
I had a surveyor on that part where I had to defend claptrap while he opened the door in The Talon of God, and since the surveyor was the last one left, it didn't have any robots to heal so it just flew around and attacked the friendly turrets. But it couldn't do enough damage to prevent them from regenerating, and the same goes for the turrets. Being Kreig I didn't have any viable weapons to use against a shielded adamantium gnat. I had to save and quit and come back.
I've revently bought this game in the a Steam sale and think it's great. However, when it comes to Rabid Stalkers and Skags I have no idea what Gerabox were thinking. At OP10 they have more HP than their respective Ultimate Badass versions and are both faster moving and way harder to kill. It's beyond frustrating.
Even though i'm pretty hard to bring down by the time i encounter them, rabid stalkers ARE the most annoying for me because theyre very fast and agile. As they ram and bite in rapid successions, they do so while advancing a little bit to the side each time, so in addition to us getting knocked back, our aim will also need constant adjustment.
No badass pyre threshers??? Not only do they oneshot you before you can even shoot them, there is no damage type they are vulnerable to. Seriously fuck those things.
Worst loaders are the RPG, Ion, and SGT all in that order. Rpg loaders do the most damage of any loader PERIOD. And they do it at range. Fucking rocket launchers they have don't even have to hit you cuz the AOE splash is enough to strip your full shield and knock you down to about 5% hp in one shot. There is almost no way of dodging them once that trigger is pulled. One shot your under health gate, another (from any enemy at that point) and your dead. Ion loaders suck simply because if they put up their force field and you have the unfortunate luck of going into fight for you life, 9/10 ten you'll die before the force field goes down. SGT loaders do a decently high amount of damage but they suck cuz they're tanky ass meat sheilds and they only got one crit spot. RPG loaders if you're lucky enough to survive their spawning and catch them reloading you can soot off their weapon arms and the crit damage hurts them decently enough. Ion loaders also don't have may crit points but they're weapons are slow firing, easy to read, and can be dodge. Plus they're not as tanky. SGT loaders just fucking face tank crit shots. But the worst case scenario is an RPG loader in an ion loader's force field. NEVER try to fight that situation head on ever.
To help with the savages, I used the enemies around them. Shoot the drifters or floating spores that are usually nearby. Then let it chase you through the savage camp. They'll usually fight each other. Then swoop in and take out the weakened victor.
I want RAKKS extinct! They always attack in groups, hitting them is next to impossible, 2nd wind even more so, and they always go for the sucker punch. I want them wiped clean from the skies of Pandora! Damn Rakks! I HATE THEM!! I HATE THEM!! I HATE THEM!!! I HATE THEM!!!
Yeah, the 2 I have the most trouble with were the reflecting skeleton mages and the Orc Lord things (fully evolved). I've totally written off getting an Ogre because of the one you have to kill in Murderlins area.
Almost every comment is about Rabid Stalkers, have you even played any DLC yet? Cursed Pirates, Crystal Skeletons and Skeleton Mages would be my top three, I wouldn't even have Rabid Stalkers in the top 10, maybe 10th spot at best, there are far worse enemies. BA Constructors, BA Buzzards, mobs of Rats, Orc Warlords, BA Witch Doctors, BA Wizards (Sorcerers, Necromancers and Fire Mages) just to name a few, all MUCH worse than puny Rabid Stalkers. Even Badass Fire and Slag Skags are worse than Rabid Stalkers...
Their speed is my only issue, escape is difficult but 4/6 characters have methods of redirection or escape, the other two just just charge in screaming and make everything die. A little situational awareness is all you really need to survive them, they're also not too good at hitting you if you jump and zig-zag like a gazelle, you can even jump over them to take advantage of their short stature and slow turning speed, then you can gain the upper hand. Personally, I'd take that advantage over DoTs and debuffs, the only time I find them (rabids) to be a real threat is when they spawn in large groups (as Rabid Stalkers typically do).
mate calm down and yes i have but yet i would rather be ganged by 10 badass wizards then rabid stalkers because they're way slower while rabid stalkers lives up to their names
I definitely agree with skeletons being a huge pain. Before encountering them, I really wasn't a big fan of Torgue weapons. After encountering them, I make sure to always have one in my pack (if not equipped). Brittle skeletons in particular are also quite weak to melee damage (assuming you want to get that close). As far as the ION loader variant, I have found that the Bonus Package grenade mod works very well. The child grenades don't seem to be affected by the ION shields (they either go right through or the blast radii take the loaders health down quite well). This could just be my game glitching, but it has worked repeatedly for me.
For shielded nomads, I find slagging them and lighting them up with a shotgun from behind is easy. You don't need zero's ability to get behind them, just move in a tight circle around them and wait for them to swing their shield at you. You probably won't get hit, but if you do, you'll still be behind them
To take skeletons mages down easier, when they warp out, follow the blue sparkle they make, and when it stop, you can shot at this place before it un-warp.

I think Ion Loaders can actually be pretty useful. Other Loaders crowd under the shield, but throwing a singularity grenade will force them out of the shield and hit all/most of them at once. If the grenade doesn't kill them, now they're nicely bunched together for a rocket launcher attack.
No constructor? You have to be close to them (but not too close) to even fight them, since they will spam homing rockets if you are further away
Not really lmao, I use a cheap tactic where I use a sniper rifle and hide lmao
Strelok (the Tf2 Metalhead) constructors are mostly stationary and have a huge crit spot. Also you can hide pretty well against them and they mostly spawn gun loaders and drones. Which both are usually not to tough to deal with.
Corrosive sandhawk and he isnt even trouble
Strelok (the Tf2 Metalhead) you can explode their missiles if you shoot them.
I feel more threatened by barrels than the enemies.
I treat barrels like enemies and shoot them all first :)
I play a Mania krieg, so I usually just wait for my health to get low and just start swinging at most of these enemies. XD
i come down here to see all the cringy kids saying first
same
DANK DUCK I came here to sigh at all the comments mentioning about people being first since I think all comments mentioning this is worthless (yes I know my comment is ironic and counter-productive).
fIrSt
I'm sorry...
Dont we all
OMG IM THE SIXTH PERSON TO COMMENT OMG OMG OMG OGMOGMOASDJKLFA
I love the fact that the world has a really good and not annoying active borderlands player/youtuber. I appreciate all the videos. You should do build videos for each character(in new to the channel so I haven't check all your vids)
Brockman174 - are you talking about Derch, or Joltzdude, or MOLMF, or Bahroo? No? Huh.
Young Jesus Derch and Joltz are annoying to listen to IMO. Barhoo doesn't do all that much BL2 anymore and Fiber is NOT active xD. But I'm just sayin my opinion. You can like whoever you want it's cool.
me when I hear Iron Golem: *flashbacks to that one moment in minecraft when i accidentally slapped a Golem in my iron farm* uh oh
My 5 least favorite mob enemies, least favorite on bottom:
5. Any chubby/tubby enemy
4. Badass varkids
3. Heavy nomads
2. Armored/Ironclad psychos
1. Rabid skags and stalkers
Bonus: Fucking marauders, every single fucking time I'm in fight for my life they run off like they're being called for dinner and it's annoying as fuck.
You mention that the best way to deal with brittle skeletons is with explosives. Isn't the point of brittle skeletons that they are brittle and VERY vulnerable to melee? Maybe that isn't as viable in UVHM I guess.
Oh, HOW DIDN'T I KNOW ABOUT THAT?!?
LOL! Nothing quite as satisfying as shattering a skeleton! Kind of like melee shattering Crystalisks.
When walking the worst enemy is Barrels
When driving the worst enemy is the Shocking Cacti🤣
Welcome to pandora bro😂
I wholeheartedly agree on Rabid enemies as a whole. Fucking annoying and hard as hell to kill in most circumstances.
Also, while I do think that Wormhole Threshers are a pain, its gotta be the Pyre Threshers that I loathe the most.
I've been playing this game since release and I still do, but I have never in my life seen that cogwheel at 0:25....
Patrick Bateman And...?
Just sayin' Mark, no need to be a dick about it.
Patrick Bateman My intention wasn't to sound like a dick, I just wanted to know if there was anything specific you meant by that.
Nah Mark, I've just never seen it before.
rabid stalkers r my number 1 hated enemy ever...none of those other enemies r even annoying to me lol just rabid stalkers lol
The teleporting skeletons from Tina’s DLC and rats are by far the most annoying
Am I the only one who always has trouble with the *FUCKING GLUTTONOUS THRESHER BOSS*???!!! D:
and it's the fucking BUL-Loaders that are so FUCKING *ANNOYING*
No, just shoot him when he comes out of the ground about to eat the beacon... lmfao
Just go back into the hyperion base. It will follow you, but there´s a border. Then you can just take cover behind some crates and take it out.
Goliaths? Those guys are actually pretty easy and make for a good distraction in larger bandit camps. I´m plaing assassin and I am always happy to let a Goliath do all the work, and then finish him of when he´s done and nearly dead and also on a high level which means a lot of XP....
illuminati_Bob It's really easy if you use the area around you for cover
Skeleton Seers are a pain, especially since I play as Krieg and they teleport away if I get close enough to melee them
Is it me or does ultamate vault hunter mode look like an fps version of dark souls? (Especially during the assault of dragon's keep)
Patrick Horvat
Dark Souls with guns.
Dark Souls with guns? Heck no, I've played and cleared every Dark Souls. And UTVH is way harder, unless you farm for the stupidly OP weapons (Norfleet etc...)
Yeah, until I found the Unkempt Harold
Chuchuca I dont even need a Norfleet🤔 And by the way, its a shoot and loot game, thats what it is made for: Farming.
Play as Krieg and it is dark souls XD
10.Buzzards 1:14
9.Armoured psycho/maniac/lunatics 3:07
8.Nomads feat.Shield 4:51
7.Wormhole/rift threshers 6:27
6.Loaders 8:06
5.Savages and Witch doctors (DLC required, Sir Hammerlocks big game hunt) 10:10
4.Skeletons (DLC required, Tiny Tina assault on dragon keep)12:10
3.Badass surveyors 13:46
2.Rabid skags/Stalkers 15:25
1.Iron golems 17:11
P.S Nomad feat.Shield is a Nomad with a shield
When I was early in borderlands, somewhat level 11-13 I found a grenade that does about 5600 damage, it was so overpowered, I mean, when I was in the doc mercy boss fight, I threw the grenade as soon as he came out and he died midway of his dialogue. I died of laughter
Bob Ross my guess it was the fast ball gernade
or a Tesla those things are game breaking
Anyone notice this mans is under leveled as HELL!!!??????
do one for pre sequel, hardest and most annoying mobs
how do you get the heavy gunner class mod
It's a world drop unfortunately.
Like puma said you have to get them through chest so tinder snowflake will help you
I had a surveyor on that part where I had to defend claptrap while he opened the door in The Talon of God, and since the surveyor was the last one left, it didn't have any robots to heal so it just flew around and attacked the friendly turrets. But it couldn't do enough damage to prevent them from regenerating, and the same goes for the turrets. Being Kreig I didn't have any viable weapons to use against a shielded adamantium gnat. I had to save and quit and come back.
I am so glad people still play this game
Small Idiot Boy Still here dude...
I still play it who the heck wouldn't play it only thing that sucks a little is borderlands pre sequel
Some people like BL2 even more than BL3 now.
Of course I still play it :)
Conjuring Skelton’s are literally the worst thing ever
Even though i'm pretty hard to bring down by the time i encounter them, rabid stalkers ARE the most annoying for me because theyre very fast and agile. As they ram and bite in rapid successions, they do so while advancing a little bit to the side each time, so in addition to us getting knocked back, our aim will also need constant adjustment.
No badass pyre threshers??? Not only do they oneshot you before you can even shoot them, there is no damage type they are vulnerable to. Seriously fuck those things.
Alex Eiring I take them down with melee zero in three hits
What if RPG Loaders had access to the NorFleet?
Call me noob but I think worst is threshers like the gluttonous thresher I think it's harder than all bosses
... That damn gluttonous thresher...
I hate it
I was a bit surprised that any type of rat enemies weren't on the list
You do realise that they aren't Explosive Loaders
They're "Exploders" (EXP-LOADER)
THANK YOU! Honestly, I hope to God he was joking when he explained the joke in the name...
Also worth noting that in FFYL you cannot enter ION Loaders' shielded area, nor can grenades enter them. Singularity grenades work charms though.
And Anglic are SGT lvl except they do more damage. Still wouldn't put them to be as annoying as Ions and RPG and NOWHERE as bad as RPG and Ion combo.
John lam That fucking laser from Angelic Guard loaders will kill you in an instant no matter who you're playing
Just use a shotgun dude.. they gave you that hint in the first game.
Try using automatics
Slif_One ahh the skeletons that disappear and reappear fuck them so much.
Rabids are easy, but the wizard is just total bs, HE DEFLECTS SHOTS
mate calm down and yes i have but yet i would rather be ganged by 10 badass wizards then rabid stalkers because they're way slower while rabid stalkers lives up to their names
and besides you come across stalkers and skags way more than any other creature in this game
When you said "skeletons generally," I was expecting #1 to be "skeleton mages, specifically"
Worst enemy is wormhole!!
I hate those tentacles beast :(
If you have something with big dps they are easier
Hentai wants to know your location
I definitely agree with skeletons being a huge pain. Before encountering them, I really wasn't a big fan of Torgue weapons. After encountering them, I make sure to always have one in my pack (if not equipped). Brittle skeletons in particular are also quite weak to melee damage (assuming you want to get that close).
As far as the ION loader variant, I have found that the Bonus Package grenade mod works very well. The child grenades don't seem to be affected by the ION shields (they either go right through or the blast radii take the loaders health down quite well). This could just be my game glitching, but it has worked repeatedly for me.
Anyone playing on pc?
me I'm Maya and Gaigie in BL2 and in TPS im Jack, Aurelia and Athena.
BlueMonster7 me as a zer0
BogusDanger You give PC players a bad name
For shielded nomads, I find slagging them and lighting them up with a shotgun from behind is easy. You don't need zero's ability to get behind them, just move in a tight circle around them and wait for them to swing their shield at you. You probably won't get hit, but if you do, you'll still be behind them
that 360p early upload squad
You and me pal
Vampire Witch Doctor, Seer and Brittle skeleton is hardest enemies I think if not use Siren. Rocket launcher is the best way to take them out.
i dont know what youre smoking but loaders are not hard to kill
He mentioned that they're annoying.
Especially the Ion ones
And he says iron golems are hard whilst shooting one with a fire weapon
Constructors are hard to kill.
Some can be annoying, like the fucking Angelic Guards.
To take skeletons mages down easier, when they warp out, follow the blue sparkle they make, and when it stop, you can shot at this place before it un-warp.
I've had to fight off 3 rabid stalkers at once
Jesus
Jake Hodge i felt this in my soul
Jake Hodge we should go to counseling just for rabids
Brennan Parbs I wouldve quit BL2 for a week
I've had to do the same and even with the sirens phaselock it doesn't matter.
Killing the buzzard in the dust with a bee+hornet combo in mere seconds over and over again while farming gettle feels so damn good.
Named all places to find buzzards except the dust which he is in .3. Lel
XxMrbear08xX NO,you are incorrect son,he mentioned The Dust 1:51 in the video
Pay more attention
XxMrbear08xX How did this get 9 likes? It’s a lie, he did say the dust.
XxMrbear08xX I get he isn't the smartest human in the world, and far from it but he did say the dust
He said the dust dummy
Not to be rude tho sorry for calling you a dummy
First video with worst countdown where VPG finally realized that scream will do nothing and is calm
Those two friggin turrets on the giant door while your heading to the bunker in ultimate vault hunter. They regen at a absurd rate
Like video amongst your others, useful, just thought to ask what’s the best order to start dlc after completing 1st playthrough or after 2nd playthrough of borderlands 2? I’m on my second playthrough with Salvador, but I’m just guessing it, could you help us please?
What spec for maya were you using?
I think some of the most annoying enemies are the badass buzzards, rabid skags and stalkers, regular stalkers, suicide bandits and Skelton seers in the tiny Tina dlc
I think the enemy I hate most is the damn Skeleton Seer. At first the always put me in ffyl and then disappear so I couldn't revive myself. So frustrating.
Ik this video is old but what Salvador build do you have? I can be in action skill through the whole game and i also use the evil monk class mod money shot style build.
Ultimate badass pyre thresher sould be either number one or an honorable mention. Cristalisks as well. Damn, they made caustic caverns a traumatizing experience.
