Right? That was a mean setup. But, they made sure they were locked in that room before hitting that burger. LOL
My dad is a vet and when i showed him this video, he said that huskies arent untrastable, but they think that when you let the food there, the food was for them, as they come to you when you fill their bowls

Dogs in general are natural scavengers and if they think they can snatch a meal without being caught in the act they usually will. It's not just a husky thing.

I don't think any dog can be 100% trusted at all times . No matter how trained they are, they are still dogs. :) But YES we should always work on training to be amazing dogs!
That is good to know, I am about to get a husky pup! I can't wait for my little fluff to eat my burger when I'm not looking. To be honest, I don't think I can say no when my pup is stuffing his little o' face.

Lol that's my Mika also. Took a lot of training to even get her not to jump and take it from our hands before we even say down. Now she only does it with people she dissent know and our 5yr old (she knows he isn't fast enough) she gets kenneled during meals now when we have him. But she is my special girl and I wouldn't trade her for the world, she is also my service dog (training for full public Access)

This video definitely put a smile on my face. I had a husky at one time but he past away. This reminded me so much of him. I used to to this to mine but he never once ate the food, he would always wait for his master to eat first. I love huskies n they are super loyal n CUTE!
I’m proud of them for lasting even a minute. I would have eaten it the second you closed the door... and asked for ketchup...

I have three Huskies at home and could never trust them to leave a burger alone. I find utensils in the yard and almost every week a new tupperware container chewed to pieces. They are also great escape artists! I love my Huskies.

Huskies are very intelligent creatures. They know how to follow directions, but that doesn't mean they won't try to sneak an opportunity if they see fit. They are resourceful and can 1-UP you if you're not careful.

I got home from a party and left some snacks on top of my trunk. As I was getting something else, my 1 year old husky zoomed over, climbed up and chomped whole piece of chocolate cake I'd been saving for my husband. He ate it all in one bite.

Aww you Siberian huskies are so cute and adorable I wish I had them.
My huskie doesn't touch my food or dig stuff out of the garbage. Early on in his life I established with him that his food is special by rewarding his behavior to eat everything. And we established that begging is not allowed by rewarding him when he let's me eat without those begging eyes looking up at me. And as far as the garbage goes, it took a couple of times of me saying no when he started sniffing around the waste basket for him to let it go. Two years later and I could leave a ham sandwich on the counter all day and its good. The waste basket is good also. And every day after Buddy's dinner I praise him and play with him and then he gets about 3 ounces of treats (cut up so there is about 20 pieces).while I give those treats one at a time I praise him for being a good boy while I ate and being a good boy for eating his dinner.
Loved the antics of Miss Hila! I think George would have left it alone.

As the guardian of two Husky girls, I didn't even need to watch this to know, but I did anyway. There is no more food motivated creature on the planet than a Husky.
We've had three huskies in the past and they never stole food (mind you they were short and couldn't look on the table). To date the house-guest husky we currently have has eaten a half package of cooked bacon, attempted to run away with the Sunday roast, consumed three bowls of ridiculously expensive cat food, and chewed on my lip balm. Can't trust him as far as we can see him!

They are both beautiful! Could you do a video on neutering/spraying your husky? I have a 1 year of male that we don't plan to breed and we don't consider him to be aggressive (which maybe a stereotype). I've heard that he maybe gain weight and that healing may not be pleasant. He's absolutely spoiled rotten, so I appreciate your help.

LOL I couldn't figure how my bull terrier was getting free from the yard stake. I watched him one day and there he was with his mouth on top of it unscrewing it from the ground. Needless to say we had to get him an outdoor pen.. He was too smart for the stake

Good video bro. 👍 my husky (lily) can last about 5 mins without going after the food when I leave the room. But I think all dogs will eventually eat the food when left unattended not just husky

NOPE. When we got our lovable big pile of fur we took her for a ride the second day and after stopping at the store for groceries, discovered that she had picked up a gallon of milk from the floor, popped it open and begun to drink from it. Not shortly after, she stole a loaf of bread from the counter. She came from a local shelter that said she'd been found with 3 cats and 4 dogs so we figured that's how they were fed. To this day, even after all the assurances that food isn't scarce...NOPE. She'll still go for it if she's able.
I see you have a bottle of Margaritaville Tequila. This is like the Cheeseburger in Paradise episode of Sixty Formula, LOL. While I'm writing this my dog is chewing on my sock.

My husky stole my cheesecake when when I stepped out of the kitchen for less than 20 seconds. She's a sneaky one. Thankfully she was ok, I got really worried after I caught her red snouted, face covered in strawberry cheesecake.

No dog can resist a hamburger. Or food, I once watched my house mate’s dog eat my friend’s Togo’s sandwich without them know it. Each time my friend would raise the unwrapped sandwich to take a bite, their dog took a bit from the other end. You should have seen the look on his face when I pointed it out, he thought the dog was patiently waiting for treat.

I don’t think I could resist being in a room alone with a burger. Fresh off the grill at that. The sight and smell alone draws one to the obvious elephant in the room. The dog’s ancestors probably hunted in the wild. The desire for meat. You can tell they have been seriously trained because they sat until you left the room. They went to the door to listen for a car cranking up or human steps possibly returning soon.

I have a one year old GSD/Collie/Weimaraner mix and he knows not to steal MY food. I can leave it on the table, no problemo. However, when he's at my parents place all bets are off and he steals food as if his life depended on it.

I don't know if all husky's are like this but mine always finds a way to break out of here kennel and outside cage kennel...and its a hassle to modify everything.
