YJ in 2018: Makes two pretty bad 6x6s for 20$ each
YJ in 2020: Makes one of the best, if not the best 6x6 on the market for 26$
If you have the gumption for setup, I definitely recommend the Little Magic 6x6. Spring compress it by about 1.5mm and use N38 4x1.5 magnets on outer layer, N38 4x1.5/4x1 for next inner layer, and N38 4x1 for center slice. Lube simply with 50k or whatever you feel is best. I think this setup makes it compare to, if not even better than, the Shadow M or AoShi GTS M. It honestly secretly feels like what a Hays 6 would be.
I love all the Cyclone Boys cubes. The Cyclone Boys G6 is a very good 6x6 especially for the price.

I was about to get a little magic but went for a tank 6x6, it has a a little chance of pops if you try a double layer of corner cutting, I thought it was the worse, but after I saw the YJ Yushi, I regreted it and I like how things end up with my tank 6x6

I Always recommend the Cyclone Boys G6 to beginners. It really is an underrated option.
The new YJ Yushi v2 M 6x6 is really good. Just a tad bit less than the MGC 6x6. And it's also cheaper than YLM 6x6 M.
Should I get a Yuxin Little Magic 6x6 or the Yuxin Red +spring swap, because on TheCubicle the Red does cost just 10$?

Do you know how the QiYi Qifan S 6x6 would compare to these and if it is worth buying. I have the stickerless 2x2, 3x3, 4x4 and 5x5 that I got in a box set. So I want to get the Qifan to match the colour scheme but unsure if it is a good cube

So what are your thoughts on the Aoshi GTS M compared to the Shadow M? I’ve never tried a shadow but I really like my Aoshi GTS M. Nice vid once again. 👍
the shadow slower but easier to control. I like it a lot more and so do Feliks Kevin and possibly max (not sure) so there's that. but some people can set up their aoshi GTS better than I can and idk how that works exactly. anyway if you like your aoshi then no need to switch since if it's well setup then they're nearly the same level

I have been Cubing for 3-4 months now. My pb single for 3x3 is 19.28 using the valk 3 power m. Is this good? The solve was a double x cross and a pll skip. My TPS was around 3.if my TPS was around 6 or 7 the solve could have been sub 5 or 6. Btw i subed

I think I tried all the 6x6s except one. My opinion is quite different from yours especially regarding MF6 and G6. I would say the 6x6s (including all premium and budget) would rank like this 1. AoshiGTS, 2. Shadow, 3. Red with yuxin 5 springs 4.Little magic, 5. Weishi GTS with a fast 4x4's springs 6. Wuhua v2 (have only tried this from being a scrambler at a comp, unknown if I tried spring swapped versions) 7. MF6 8. Have not tried the Shengshou legend but I believe I would put it here 9. Wuhua v1 10. Aoshi original with shengshou 5 springs 11. G6 12. Guanshi/Rushi/Yushi 13. Shengshou 14. V cube. If I missed any it would likely rank around 12 or 13
I'll probably not get into 6x6 at least for now since I want to do other events like megaminx and skewb.
One month ago i was waiting for u to make a 6x6 video but i chose a little magic 6x6 anyways. I opened it yesterday (since i live in Australia and im one day ahead) it was a good first 6x6. I wake up today and see that uploaded a 6x6 video and im like “where was this a month ago” jk but i still woul have gotten the yuxin little magic because the g6 was out of stock at speedcube.com.au so ye thanks for the help anyways (im sorry if this make no sense to u) Also Merry Christmas and to u use yau for 6x6 and can u make a video for begginers
2:13 This happened a ton with my MF6 and it was really annoying. It also happened on my MF7S, but not nearly as much.

1:36 I was more like listening to the video when the cube exploded and I got the crap scared out of me and winced cuz that's exactly what happened when I first bought my 6x6. I lost a few pieces so it's still disassembled.

you should definitely lube it. you can keep improving on this for sure, but there are better cubes out there. maybe aim for sub-20 before upgrading! Merry Christmas!

what do you use to edit your videos?
I have magnetized both the G6 and the YLM 6x6s. Both make solid magnetic 6x6s, but the core design of the G6 is not durable. I like the speed of the G6, but smoothness and durability give the YLM the edge as a magnetic 6x6. I do not have a factory magnetized Shadow, but my DIY Shadow M is not as good as my YLM 6M.
An important thing to consider is that the cyclone boys is not legal out of the box. And has a logo that is printed (not a sticker) on the corner and it is not competition legal unless you remove it.
Hey J Perm, how do you memorise the color order when doing the cross. I always have to check and turn the cube to see the centers and figure out what color goes after what color. I have been cubing for like a year now and I still for the life of me can't keep in mind the order of the centers. Is there any way I can practice to just know instead of checking because just practicing solves and crosses doesnt work for me
for Yau or for 3x3? for 3x3 I don't have it memorized I just look at the centers
For 3x3. Also is it worth just practicing just croses, memorising them, closing my eyes and executing if I want to get better just at the cross or normal solves with the cross memorised?

I got the MF6 for Christmas and its good
I have cyclone boys 2x2-5x5 and as budget cubes they are the best speed cubes exept the 4x4 which is extremely tight and cant be loosen manualy and its a big turn off for me...
But the 6x6 seems to be as smooth as the 5x5 which is very good
