Melty Blood, Under Night, and DBFighterZ, and Marvel vs Capcom 2 and Ultimate have some pretty meh, uneventful, or nonexistent story modes and they’re all considered some of the best/most popular fighting games that have ever been made. Story mode doesn’t mean much as long as the core mechanics are fun.
+Taun What if Jaune is a kind of comic relief character? Yeah, we have Yosuke, but Jaune would be a funny character to play. I don't have ideas for his moveset tho. Besides, the character evolved a lot through the series, so he would be a good option.

This correlates with the rumours of Kill la Kill being added, or by some miracle, a new Persona Arena game being added. (Potentially with persona 5 characters based off of the Pink, and rwby already had red.) Another reason for P5A being added is due to Arc saying that if Bbtag gets enough support, they'll consider making persona 5 arena or a rwby game. Kill la kill is less likely, due to it playing in the Naruto style, unlike the Blazblue, Persona, or Uni style. I have high hopes for the new cast, even if it isn't a new cast, like i would like.

Day: Almost 6 months later, and still nothing aside from the 2019 announcement plus the mystery of the Pink Diamond continues. I am willing to bet that it is either Arcana Heart or Hyperdimension Neptunia given that both of them fit the theme of Pink perfectly since Senran Kagura fits more to being a Green Diamond than a Pink one.
Jin Kisaragi: Not likely given that I see Guilty Gear's being more of a really Darker Red, like it'll be Red like RWBY's but more a darker shade of red than Pink plus as much as I want to see Guilty Gear, it's not likely given that they still haven't reached a stopping point yet and it's too soon for BlazBlue and Guilty Gear to have a crossover since I see it when Guilty Gear finally reaches the end of Sol's story which should be the next game if things go smoothly.

I respectfully disagree Stardust, while I am playing P4 and wouldn't mind seeing Rise and Teddie, RWBY only has 4 characters, no villain and no one from JNPR. To me, the RWBY part of the roster isn't done yet. Yes I know they have to be made for scratch so it takes time to make and reveal them.
Reveal was awesome. Yuzuhira and Akihiko are the only characters I cared about in this trailer, but I will probably wind up getting all of them though. The pink franchise might be Senran Kagura, but Mori could surprise everyone. I'm also just looking forward to the special intro/outro interactions of the new characters and hoping more brawlers make it in. Personally I would like to see Adam Tauros make it in mainly to interact with Jin, Blake, Makoto, and Yuzu, but guess we will have to wait and see.
