- Adam sits down with Greg Gutfeld in New York. The two chat about their history doing one-man shows and how it differs from traditional stand-up. Greg gives insight into his preparation for his late night show and they talk about its success. The two then dive into how the media allows stories to die and people not being affected by big events anymore.

I'm in England and Greg is the only comedian I can stomach. He's terrific. Like Tucker, on a regular basis he hits his subject so well it's inspiring.
As much as I love Gutfeld’s good nature, humor and sarcasm, it’s his unique thoughtful assessments and his passionate anger over that which is shockingly unjust that makes me respect him as a serious person. Great combo!

I think he's the most important voice on Fox. He's the only one (maybe with the exception of Tucker Carlson) to provide a unique voice, a different take, a novel thought process on the network. I'm not anti-fox but there is an issue with homogeneity of opinion there.

Jimmy Kimmel might get more viewers if he renamed it "The Trans Show." It would be Jimmy in drag instead of blackface and his whole monologue is "trumptrumptrumptrump..."
Watching Gutfeld is a great way to unwind from all of the leftist insanity and idiocy I hear about daily. I always come away from his show feeling better.
It gives me great joy that this devilish, sarcastic and funny guy is beating all of the late night “comedians” by far and they HATE it so bad.

Saw Gutfeld live recently. Such a great show. We were cracking yp the whole time. Gutfeld and Tyrus especially were so great with the crowd.
The first I saw Tyrus with Greg I thought “who is this lunk”. Boy has he changed my mind; his kids are lucky to have him for a dad.

Gavin McInnes was up for Tyrus' job. He said they decided to hire an idiot, because he's black, and they wanted diversity. IDK. But Gavin is much smarter, and funnier than Tyrus.
Cause if Tyrus wasn't physically big, he wouldn't of ever become famous. Glad he was nice to you though.

When a thing is working so good as Gutfeld, don't over think it. That doesn't mean don't grow. Gutfeld can likely expand at will if he wants. And Kat and Tyrus are nailing it in and out of the box too.

Red Eye rocked!
I started recording Red Eye back when it was being broadcast just to see what it was. Took about 3 shows to get a grasp on just what the hell was going on. It was insane. Nothing was off limit, and the variety of guests were great. Greg nudges up as close as he can to that spirit with "Gutfeld", but nothing will ever top Red Eye.

Greg nails it too with DEI in business, but I can't say which came first. Did corporations invite these people into their HR departments (i.e. the armpit of the corporate world), or is HR the only place these people can get a job?
I mean, HR isn't something that newly enrolled college students actually pursue with a scholastic passion/interest. They've basically settled for this path because they need a job to pay the bills and don't know anything that is productive or useful.
@@nattymo7835 The reason any idiot makes it into a company is that they have someone in management who likes them. The ideological lefties at the top buy into that crap, and hire people with basket weaving degrees to enact the plans. Its better that they don't have brains, it makes them more pliable, and compliant and stick to the ideology.
Most top execs comes from ivy league schools, and those are ALL run by progressives. If the elites taught there didn't go in believing in the ideology, they certainly came out brainwashed that way.
@@nattymo7835 Well think of all of the support staff it takes for a large corporation. Lots of menial office jobs that people with useless degrees can get because really anyone can get them. So they're young and freshly indoctrinated by left-wing activist professors in a university not to mention that they feel like disappointments because they're completely useless and have a job paying the bare minimum. So they get caught up in SJW frenzy and start militantly pressuring their bosses to adopt SJW policies.
I think HR just adapts to whatever the current situation is. I've never met an HR person who actually gave a shit about anything.
Most owners and managers don't really care, but are willing to exploit something that they can get for no money and little effort (spewing bullshit they don't believe in) in order to keep their employees off their backs and massive drum up some few advertisement if they show how social justice friendly they are.
HR is one of those useless office jobs so perhaps they've been taken over by the useless college graduates. That's possible as well. I haven't met many young HR employees.
I have loved watching Greg since Red Eye- I’m 49 and was a bit punk in my teens so I love his taste in music and have always loved his politics. Watching his show evolve has been so fulfilling haha…I can only imagine what it’s like for him!! Having humor with the politics is about the only reason I tune into the news anymore!

I've been watching Greg since Red Eye. He's the reason I've stayed watching anything on FOX. Love him on The Five and now his own show. I love his commentary and humor. He's a genius!

I picked up copies of Mens Health on airplanes between flights as a flight attendant and only liked reading Gutfeld’s articles so much that I ordered a subscription. My husband got jealous of the muscular male pictures but it was Greg’s intelligent humor I needed. I feel like I’ve known him for 20 years ❤️
I don't usually sit for an hour to watch a channel/show anymore. About 15 minutes continuous is about all I can take anymore as my attention span has waned. However, this was super easy to watch, listen to and enjoy; totally worth my time investment. Very cool to listen to Greg speak about his literary past and how it translated into his current number one gig. Thanks for the interview, Adam. Kudos to both of you! Thanks to for hosting this.

Greg is one of my favourite "funny guys" precisely because he's not a comedian by trade. It makes his jokes sound more like thoughts instead. His limericks and rhymes are frickin next level too.

Never miss a Gutfeld show
It's fun listening to these guys. They are both funny and really intelligent. But what I have noticed is that when Greg talks it's like 90 mph, when Adam talks the pace slows way down. Their styles are so contrasting, it's interesting as hell to watch.
Gutfeld is used to rushing through each segment for advertisers during primetime and carolla is more laid back from not having to focus on advertising spots
@@herbal776 I just remember years ago when Adam had a radio show with Dr. Drew, he has always been laid back and thoughtful about everything he says. Never even heard of Greg before this show.

@@Al-rs2rr he was an editor for several magazines. Back in the day he had a little comedy show on fox called redeye that was pretty entertaining it just never really took off
You don't have to be a "professional comedian" to be funny. Greg is just a naturally funny guy. i can't believe it took Fox this long to give him a show like this.
Gutfeld is pushing his way through Fox since 2007 or 2008 Red Eye days (or nights). He was funny back then and I even wrote an email to Fox News to let them know about it!
