171 Aaron's Story 26th of April 2010 Part 2

The Story of Aaron Livesy from Itv's soap opera Emmerdale.

Synopsis: Alone, Chas tentatively tells Aaron that she doesn't care that he's gay. Aaron, however, doesn't feel the same and reveals to a distraught Paddy that nothing's changed - he wishes that he was dead.
Will Paddy and Chas be able to help Aaron? How long will it be before everyone finds out his secret?

When I watch a soap, I usually don't get emotional because I find them to be overly dramatic but this storyline is different. While I was watching this scene, I couldn't help but think: this is a reality for so many teens. For any human to hate himself enough to take is own life is extremely sad, especially when you know these feelings are a repercussion of how homosexuals are treated in many societies. Let's hope we will wake up to a better, more accepting world in the near future.

I'm glad he's awake, but not happy about his state of mind. Aaron still wishes he were dead. I don't know whether there's such a thing as a normal response to a failed suicide. If there is, that's probably not it.

@Merima1978 Yes, and everyone who doesn't know is asking why Aaron tried to kill himself. Every time someone in Emmerdale asks why Aaron did it or sticks their nose into someone else's business, his or her nose should grow an inch, and when a person's nose gets to be, say, 3 feet or a meter long, they should be taken out back and shot.
I wish Aaron could solve his problems by moving to a big city, but he'd just be a self-hating young man in a big city. I don't know what it's going to take.

Because it hurts to breathe without it and your not going to die without it on your just going to be in pain.. i've been there but i didnt try to commit suicide haha!
