Emirates Boeing 777-300ER Close Up Landing & Takeoff at Dublin Airport

Hi all, here we have something from Dublin Back in October 2014. This was one of the highlights of the day, its always nice to see an Emirates 777. Runway 10 was in use on my visit which allowed me to get some very nice close up shots. Those GE90s always sound good.

Off all the planes, although just twin engined, the 777 line up with the GE-90 engines are the best. The sound, the size, the elegance. It does not stop blowing my mind.

SHEESH! I absolutely LOVED planes when I was 4 to 10. And I still do, that's why I have a plastic version of most Emirates planes. I only went on the A380 which made me love planes even more.

Great Video. Check at 1:10, the RPM of the two fans is actually quite low. Yet it still pushes, what , a couple of hundred tons along. I cant get me head round that. I guess its size of them and sheer volume of air.
