so what size tank is that you have the maten filter on? I have 2-55 gal tanks what size power pump would work??

In this video it is a 75 gallon aquarium. If you watch my recent fishroom tour video I have matten filtration on all my aquariums except for one because it is a drilled aquarium I got for free! Depends on how much flow you want and what type fish you have in the aquarium! Most of mine or at 528 gallons per hour and I use those for my 55 gallon aquariums and do just fine! If you have guppies you might want to have a slower pump!

I think its best not to as you create dead spots and increase maintenance. The idea is these filters only need cleaning maybe once a year
