Actually she starts to not be aware of when she is bleeding. And when they meet another with the same power that her, you can see the pain sensation is completely eraised. So in some point (that's starts to show in the story) Cleare become completely unsensitive. What also can make her unfeeling, because what make us empatize is the pain that we can relate, if she can't feel pain anymore she can't empatize, if she can't empatize, she could ended up being evil.
I loved how Ted turned red and was screaming like he was being tortured in hell or something, it really brought Isaac's portrait of the exploding man to life when I saw this for the first time.
It's a pity to say that the Heroes Wiki website has been permanently closed. The site closed yesterday, June 1st. The website had extensive and unique information about the universe of Heroes (TV, Graphic Novels, Websodes, Abilities, Evolutions, IStories, Actors, Characters, etc). The reason for the closure is because after such a long time, there is no new material from Tim Kring's masterpiece, and the administrator had no choice but to close. I hope that in the future, this great series will return and for therefore also the site. Until then, "Does the hero or the villain inside us win the day?"

I feel Heroes really set the ground work for super hero movies. It was very popular and drew in fans of Marvel, DC, and non super hero fans alike. Plus it was during a time when we didn't have super hero movies coming out really at all, so it filled the gap and actually made people want more. Personally I want to see Zachary Quinto playing a major Marvel Villain, he proved himself as Sylar as being both charming, entertaining, menacing, and just downright evil.
I totally agree this and X-men were superhero entertainment made in a realistic and grounded way and taken seriously in a time when they didn’t have too. And this proved to studios out there that superhero stories are great and the possibilities with them are close to endless
It did in my opinion it is the first show the established that if a person could heal or regenerate they will live forever after all shows started incorporate that in their shows, Luke Cage, etc. Before that Wolverine had healing powers but it was said that he was still mortal and can die permanently if injuries was sever enough like fall from a great height, nowadays we seen wolverine regenerate from a skeleton, had his height exploded or sliced in pieces and yet he regenerates, a concept that would never would have happened before heroes. Another was superman kingdom come he was given gray hair nowadays he deem he can live forever, (Superman one million) even cartoons like Superman Red Son have shown him still young still after 70 years.

That is a heat protectant worthy of the name. Really cool scene, season one was so great and I really miss Claire plus the whole Bennet (and Petrelli) family dynamics. Claire and Peter will always be my favourite characters. They were the best standalone and plot wise imo. Those families were the real "core" of the show.

If you stop it as time index 3:51 you'll see they digitally re-added her clothing to save her regenerating naked since technically her clothes would have completely burnt. What's also interesting is because you are watching it at a higher definition than it was originally shown, the digital effects are easier to see.
Looks like a compositing goof. They would have rendered a 3D burnt-skin model in full and meant to composite it under her clothes, but at the start of the shot it's laying on top.
