The ONLY way this MV could have been any better would be if all five ladies were in the same location to film, so they could all meet in person. Otherwise, both sides of production did a fantastic job of ALMOST making us forget that they had to film separately. REALLY well done, matched up perfectly. :)

I have not seen anybody in the comments mention this yet so I will. Ariana Grande' had partial writing credits for this song; that could explain the rather cheeky, saucy double-entente of the lyrics. BUT, the ladies themselves also had to agree to sing and perform the song. I guess they were all okay with it and it turned out great! This was also the first time Jisoo seemed comfortable singing her entire verse in English. She really improved her English in order to do this and she has kept improving ever since then, so we were SO PROUD of her! :)

Singles like this give artists a chance to tone shift and play around outside of their standard concept. It’s definitely fun!

It’s one of the most “hated” BP but I absolutely love it! They went with a cute, sweet rythm but went in with not so sweet lyrics. It was more pink than black for once, but it was still very them cause the song has a duality. Anyways, love your reactions !

She was actually quite underutilised and not getting as much spotlight during the period when this song came out. Thankfully Blinks stood behind her and demanded that she gets more lines and more screen time, especially because she was supposed to be the main visual of the group. Still waiting for her single though.

One of the things I really like about this song is the wordplay - rather "naughty" as the sub-text is all about sex. Lisa's rap is about a young lady making the most of her 'earning potential' over the summer - look at the wordplay used there. It's rather reminiscent of Shakespear's work, especially his comedies, where there is a deliciously wicked sub-text when you understand the various meanings of the words and expressions he uses - The Royal Shakespeare Company through the last century (haven't seen modern works) has a lot ot answer for by their pretentious performances putting school pupils off.
