    Hello Tom.
    What did you buy from this Bonsai Sale?
    Did you buy Any Bonsai Tools?
    Thank You.

      Unfortunately, I didn’t buy anything at this swapmeet. I placed several factors before arriving so I don’t go crazy and refill my yard with more trees. Tool wise im shopping for used tools as I’m playing around with shaping

    Great video. What are the flat pieces of wood from the last vendor? And what are they used for?

    • @BaikoenBonsai
      @BaikoenBonsai  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The jita or flat wood pieces priced around 25. Used for accent plant stands.

    I've never sold at this event in part because it's hard to get out there all day on a Saturday, especially with an hour drive each way, but also because I do not have a strong sense of how to value and price my trees, so I'd probably start the day by quickly selling out of a bunch of badly underpriced stuff, then sitting around all day selling none of my overpriced stuff.

    • @BaikoenBonsai
      @BaikoenBonsai  ปีที่แล้ว

      Laugh, it’s not about selling. It’s the sense of community. I’ll be in the same boat

    $1200 for that maple was a really good deal. Could probably even negotiated

    • @BaikoenBonsai
      @BaikoenBonsai  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      $800 was my limit for that tree based on my current skill level. That was to factor in a display pot, healing those big scars and developing a sizable new apex.

    • @BaikoenBonsai
      @BaikoenBonsai  ปีที่แล้ว

      If I didn’t have couple of my other maples yes 1200 for a tree that size is indeed worth the cost

      @@gregoryh4601 depends on how far developed material. For pines finished trees are bang for your buck. For developing material deciduous is the way to go
