the last backyard garden is the most impressive I´ve ever seen. The integrated moon into the wall is really cool and fulfill the picture of a miniature landscape.
All the gardens were wonderful, but the last shot of the last worksite was a particularly beautiful ending to this video. The moon wall lantern was really the crowning touch to this artwork. Imagine the peace and beauty this garden would give you everyday if you lived there. Lovely work as always!
I learn so much from each video. Even though I don't have a Japanese-style garden, the techniques used to prune trees and plants, and the way the stone is worked are inspirational!
Mr. Yamaguchi has created works of art! How stunning! I loved the brick wall with the bamboo..the wall of coal...my goodness so very beautiful. Truly pieces of garden art! The plants, the textures, the water and the rocks....its magical! God bless
Thank you for this video. As always I enjoy watching them very much. It is good to see maintenance work once the gardens have been built and established.
The charcoal wall with the circular opening in the last segment is absolutely striking. I would love to know more about how it was created. Thank you so much for sharing.
Yes, it is! I wish I could have shot this garden when he was creating it, but I hadn't met Mr. Yamaguchi yet at that time. Please look forward to the next garden by Mr. Yamaguchi.
No doubts your content is the best of its kind! I'm in love with these works, gardens, and inspirational spaces to meditate. Great job man! I really hope this culture, art, and man craft never ends.
Yes, it is! He's very creative with his garden! However, it is also very important that he respects the history of Japanese gardens.😊 I'll be making more videos of his garden creations in the future! Look forward to it!
Thank you for your beautifully artistic-educational video recordings helping us better understand excellence in Landscape Architectural fitness detailing...a priceless gift of creativity!!!
The patience with mind and eye to detail is impressive. I’m wondering; do the Niwashi find the work peaceful and maybe even meditative? I wish I knew how to trim my Japanese maple trees. I’m sure it takes years of doing it to master, but I wish I knew even just a little. Thank you for sharing. As always, lovely gardens, with tradition sewn in with the Niwashi’s hands.
I love it all! The bamboo brick wall, the fantastic water bowl, and definitely the moon on the charcoal wall. Mr. Yamaguchi’ gardens evoke a deep sense of serenity and appreciation. The colors, textures and ground covers tie it all together. Amazing gardens. Thank you. Peace 💫
WWWOOOOOOWW! That black garden is so stylish! I love the charcoal walls... It´s amazing. Definitly impressive in detail! Thank you for this video. It´s so relaxing...
Absolutely loved that final garden, those charcoal walls! The graphic design patterns and subtle 'radial spoke' textures changing shadows with the daylight sun and from the 'new moon' wall sconce. The piled up lava rocks did create a convincing mountain scene. Imagining an ultrasonic mist maker can create a cloud of fog coming down from the 'mountain.' Can you show us how you made that binchotan wall!

This is my favorite gardening you tube channel. I love the beautiful gardens creating and maintaining. Would you be able to tell me what the long handled pruning tool is called.? The one used on a tall tree branch. Thank you for all that you share on this channel.
Amazing work! I particularly loved the last garden, and the guitar music just combined perfectly with it. I wonder what the name of that theme is. Congratulations.
Dear japanese gardens tv, i want to ask how many times a years requires maintenance a ganden like the last two, excellent and beautiful work, thank you

This was a fantastic video; it gives us a good look at a day in the life of Yamaguchi San! He is so lucky to be working in such amazing locations! The 1st garden, I really like Yamaguchi San's charcoal artwork! In the 2nd garden, I love the stone basin shaped like a cube; did Saida San make that? The 3rd garden I have no words for; maybe gorgeous, incredible and stunning are as close as I can find! The charcoal walls are like nothing I've ever seen before; such a great, dark backdrop for this garden! Please send my compliments to Yamaguchi San! Thank you!
Thanks for all the great comments! I'll be sure to pass your comments on to Ms. Yamaguchi! 😊 Those stones were probably purchased by Mr. Yamaguchi somewhere in Japan!
Each garden has its own peace and beauty. The "Charcoal Wall" in the cafe is astonishing in its concept and execution! Can we learn of Mr. Yamaguchi's wall art creation and maintenance?
At 12:23 that looks like "princess pine" that we see on the forest floor here in the northeast of the USA. I have seen it in the northeast corner of the state of Pennsylvania and now also encounter it here in southern New Hampshire. When I was a child we used to make wreathes of it for Christmas decor. The other possibility is that it is a type of ground cedar....
Now I have asked at several Danish nurseries but no one can give me an answer. Why pack in the root system in it is to restrain the growth of the tree. in the style of bonsai. Many greetings Henning
That material is a natural hemp material, so if it goes into the soil, it will rot and disappear. There are also gaps in the fabric, so the roots can easily go through those gaps and out. So, it will not affect the growth of the tree at all.
Question. How much fertilizer do you use in Japan. The gardens are clean, no organic waste. How well is organic life under the ground doing? Using compost?
I liked the charcoal wall in the last garden. It will be amazing when the green moss grows in over the rocks. Do you live in the Kyoto area? Maybe you should start garden tours for tourists after the pandemic is over? 🥳

What is the name of the tree @12:05?
(The last garden with charcoal walls)… Huge water basin! 😱🙌
How much did it weigh? 🤯
Yes, you're right.
I think it's quite heavy.💦
The trees that appear were japanese maple? The ones where the leaves turn red in autumn?
Yes, it is!
I'm sure the leaves will turn in the fall!
