so you turning off fast repair cause you know exactly what you gonna need and do it yourself, i will leave fast repair on cause i am new but will leave the other one off 0 cause sometimes those pit stops make no sense they are so long
iRacing will by default have fast repair on. This is fine if you are in a race with unlimited fast repair. However most races have 1 fast repair. So its nice to have it off so you can save it for big damage. I'd rather have a 30 second longer pit stop for some lite aero damage, than waste that fast repair. Save the fast repair for if I get a good amount of damage from a big wreak.
@@Kazick228 to perform a fast repair, do you have to assign the task to a button that you would for it to perform the action or do they happen automatically when you put. I’m newer to iRacing so I’m trying to understand the fast repair in general
By default iRacing has the fast repair turned on. If you follow these steps you can turn it off. You will then have to ether check fast repair in your black box or go into the options in game and add #fr to a button to toggle it with out going into the black box. So if that's not making sense, I got out of surgery a few days ago any my brain is still scrambled.
Thank you so much for doing this. Exactly what I was looking for. Clear and direct.
Excellent video! I had no idea I could have fast repair set to 0 that way. Thank you!
