Bajaj's new Avenger 150 Street was launched alongside two new 220s in a new avatar. We ride the new motorcycles to find their true grit.
Bajaj Avenger 150 Street summary. Bajaj Avenger 150 Street Price - Rs. 83,048 onwards (Ex-showroom, Mumbai). It is available in 1 version.Avenger 150 Street has a mileage of 50 kmpl and a top speed of 110 kmph.Bajaj Avenger 150 Street is available in 2 different colors : Midnight Blue and Cosmic Red
The Avenger Street 150 is the highest selling bike in the Avenger series. This was possible due to its pricing and the way the bike looks.
Based on the old Avenger platform, the Street 150 is targeted towards young buyers, who are looking for more than just a regular motorcycle. In order to attract these set of buyers, Bajaj has equipped this cruiser gets new alloy wheels, black rubber bellow on the front forks, a new grab rail and a new silencer. The handlebar has been slightly lowered and is also flatter for better handling.
The Avenger Street is powered by a 150cc single-cylinder DTS-i engine that also powers the Pulsar 150. Bajaj claims that the engine characteristics of the Avenger Street 150 are different from the Pulsar 150. This engine is retuned to develop low and mid-range torque. This mill produces 14bhp at 9000rpm and a peak torque of 12.5Nm at 6500rpm. This engine is mated to a five-speed transmission.
The Avenger Street 150 is equipped with a 14-litre fuel tank, with a reserve level of 3.4-litre. It has a ground clearance of 169mm, just like the bigger Avengers. Braking duties are done by a 240mm disc at the front and 130mm drum at the rear. The Avenger Street 150 is available in two colour options. While it doesn’t really have a competition in its class, the Suzuki Gixxer and the Yamaha FZ Fi 2.0 does come in the same price bracket.

that was a very great review. and you're right the tappet of my bike got loosened and it used to frequently get stopped during low RPMs
Extremely important review, specially the main switch one. Bajaj needs to do something better about it, to make it safe (from thief) for all owners, please. Other than that superb bike in this price...

The last point is worth to be noted where sir mentions about the TAP IT NOISE + LOW MILEGE. Sirji iska koi remedy ho toh please please please bata do... Iss tap it noise ke wajah se bike chalane ka dil hi nahi karta. Avenger is really a good bike though in case of performance. Hope I get a positive reply soon. Thanks in advance Sirji.

Whatever you say, that is true for any bike with electronic start. Even you can start a car by breaking the window and shorting wires. This will never happen if you have switched of oil with key and locked your staring.
I have been driving this bike for last 7-8 months and I don't see any issue so far.
