"Guy's what's up? What are we doing?" Food vendors still desperately wanting answers after decades of skits as we come around and become strange enough for zoomers to "go around"... 'tis truly a sight to behold.
This is amazing but RE4 merchant will live rent free in my head forever "What are you buying?" "What are you selling?" "Got a lot of good things on sale stranger!"
it's really REALLY cool even for a vid like this, getting an old camcorder to film these parts instead of using the basic video editing tools for "RETRO CRT" filters.
i live in europe, and since ikeas are one of the few things identical across continents, seeing the boys in an actually familiar setting there feels like breach of containment. like this could happen to me too. this could happen to anyone.
Dude this was how I felt watching the old Super Mario Bros 2 skit and a couple other videos around that time. They visited Kansas City where I'm from to film some stuff (I believe they were visiting Lowtax) so there are videos of them literally goofing on streets I grew up walking.
im usually pretty good with secondhand embarrassment but as soon as it cut to the live audio playing out loud i genuinely shriveled into a raisin holy shit
By the way, "plumbers don´t wear ties" might be the greatest name ever, it works for a song, a movie, a tv series, a comedy stand up, a videogame, a band, it might be the coolest name ever, imagine calling your own burger or pizza restaurant "plumbers don´t wear ties", or better yet, your uniform shop., lol is so great,... and yes it works for a porno movie too lol
Man this is AWESOME. In this era of people constantly recording in public you got some really good clips out of this. I guess you just have to do something bizarre enough that they have no choice but to react to you oddly.
Garett keeps tons of old equipment so probably was literally the camera they used years ago why rocco said if all goes well it comes out today was probably a nightmare to export
Man this feels like a Version 1 sketch brought us from the past of 2003 to 2024! Man this is Crescent Fresh and I loved this sketch thank you! :D Well done Rocco, Derrick, Shawn and Garrett! :D
love seeing the evolution of the public bits to adapt to being in a public that 'prank youtuber' is immediately the first thing people think of when they see someone doing something weird
I had no idea this was a more recent skit at first; it made me do a bit of a double take just to make sure this wasn't something from years ago, haha. A definite classic -- you guys rock 👍 How in the literal FUCK did this """game""" get on Switch though? I thought that Nintendo would have been the _least_ okay with PDWT even existing...
What the hell, you guys should record more skits in 480p standard def like this. There's something super nostalgic to it, and that simple raw format suits your guy's public skits so well! Also 1:23 🧑🍳👌
This was so hilarious and just a damn perfect video from start to finish. I've been a big fan and supporter of Mega64 for 17 years, but I get real giddy when I see you all have uploaded a new Public Game Experiment. They're what got me hooked so long ago and what had me showing literally all of my friends every time there is a new one.
I'm glad to see Mega64 still keeps up with their antics, even by today's standard(s) after so many years. Genuinely funny always watching Rocco, Shawn, and Co. in public (no less) making content/recreating videogame scenarios. However, truth be told, it's kind of depressing when you've got people reacting in such ways, like @ 1:28 because of society's norms. Granted, they've had many instances of crude/tense outtakes from others, but therein lie so many classic moments of comedy. Now-a-day's, people just come off as contrived, or probably figure it's for a TikTok... Regardless, hope these guys continue to stick w/it and keep up the great work!
Was already laughing but jesus christ when I realised you were blasting that shit out in public- what the fuck guys 😂 One of the best ever and so wildly unexpected of a lost classic. Made my week.
I'm amazed that after all these years nobody around the SD area has recognized you guys in your videos, I wish I could see this happening irl since I've been to some of the places you guys shoot at , maybe someday!
Been such a long time since I watched a "Mega 64" video like this. Admittedly a bizarre choice with the infamous "Plumbers Don't Wear Ties", but I love the execution of this. Really dig the old school filter used here. Great work guys.
lol, I loved this video. Great idea, great execution. Sounded like you guys played that audio really loud, haha. I don't know if these are fun to make, but they sure are fun to watch.
You must work out
I ride motorcycles too.
Don't you just love the feeling of the power between your legs?
Whoa, geez, look at the butt on that!
rocco really captured of energy of the “Take yer damn clothes off!” guy.
Classic m64
The reveal that the audio was actually playing while they were filming was legitimately haunting
Lol
The sentiment of your comment is legitimately stupid 🤣 haunting, get out of here you goofy gus.
It's so fking loud lmao
Yeah it feels messed up lmao
It made the beginning even more hilarious once I replayed the bit.
the moment i heard the in-camera audio i laughed so hard i cried. instant classic guys
First comment to respond, Ha He
This feels like a long lost Mega64 skit from years ago in the best possible way. Instant classic.
I felt the same way. The camcorder they used was a great idea.
I was sure it was just an old episode rereleased in HD, until I saw new shots!
This is the best one. This series has been running for so many years and you finally released the best episode.
"Guy's what's up? What are we doing?"

Best is katamari
I agree this killed me. I been watching them since 2005. Hidden voice speakers made this whole video.
@@deadninjas Lol confusing my hometown for decades
Y’all are brave for playing the audio out loud. Holy moly
You know that was garret in a bush with a speaker 100%
Wow, I thought it was dubbed over! This makes it 100x better
@@BrxIghtside I think the speaker is the little black thing by their feet.
I appreciate Mega64 taking the most awkward approach possible in adapting this game. The booming audio really sells it.
"But it's just still poses, there's no way this could possibly be bothersome to people in public--
oh"
it's really REALLY cool even for a vid like this, getting an old camcorder to film these parts instead of using the basic video editing tools for "RETRO CRT" filters.
It's incredible that such a concept that's so simple like this is legit one of the funniest things I've ever seen. It's so freaking good.
Thanks!
Man, Shawn working out with Garrett paid off quick!
That vitamin D is working miracles
Shawn has to to be on gear... No way he's that natty.
Vitamin D changed his entire life
@@Spoonky92 i heard he was disqualified from the board game olympics for dosing vitamin D, definitely not natty
He needs to try infused 64% THC next
you could tell me this was a Version 3 skit from like 10 years ago, and I'd believe you. Already a new Mega64 classic.
Yeah I wasn't sure if it was a reupload or not for a second
@@Zeldarulah I thought the same at first
This plumber giving you a hard time? I've plumbed guys like him before.

Don't worry. There's no such thing as plumbers.
hi michał :)
well well well who do we have here
Guys improvising 3DO Interactive Multiplayer games in public is a rising trend globally.

Move over Shawn x Garrett, Shawn X Rocco is the new Mega64 ship in town
The sudden payoff that they're blasting the audio through a speaker elevates this sketch towards the top.
Most unusual part is shaved Rocco

FINALLY mega64 parodies a triple A, high-budget game that still has an auteuristic touch
lol the ue boom speaker blasting this all out for everyone to hear
This is what I’m fuckin talking about. I’m a ride or die internet soldier but I’ve really been missing videos like these
Wow! I can’t believe we’re finally getting a trailer for the FMV game you guys are working on.
1:26 Love how the font changed when it cut from the real footage to the "in-game" footage. Brilliant touch
Modern classic mega64 skit

I like how THIS is too weird for the zoomers walking by.
There's a loud speaker with the narration. From start to finish I believe.
Exactly!
Man this is AWESOME.
In this era of people constantly recording in public you got some really good clips out of this. I guess you just have to do something bizarre enough that they have no choice but to react to you oddly.
When it cut to HD video I was shocked, I legitimately thought this was something you guys filmed back in high school
The camerawork in this video was perfect, I couldn't help but laugh when the audio was playing out loud
I completely forgot about Plumbers Don't Wear Ties. 😂
Leave it to Mega64, when the public 'prank' genre is dead, they know how to make it fresh again
I love that they film all these in the same place throughout the years lol. Also the disjointed phrases gives me like Eva eps 25/26 vibes lmao
Lol I recognize that one hallway from the tony hawk video
Yeah like when they did the RE8 video and had Duke where the merchant was in the RE4 video
It really pleases me to know that you guys are still making new episodes of Mega64 after all these years.
"Only a mother could give a son a tie like that"
HUH 😳
Oh god that was amazing, the people being like “wtf is that, just go around” was so good”
IKEA! That's a place you haven't been banned from yet!
This is borderline art if not just entirely art
The production value to make it seem like an archive skit was crazy, was so confused
Garett keeps tons of old equipment so probably was literally the camera they used years ago why rocco said if all goes well it comes out today was probably a nightmare to export
I think it's meant to be as low quality as the stills in the game.
I can't stop watching this, it's so mesmerizing
Oh my god this is absolutely brilliant. Not only is it funny, you guys have created a legitimately awesome piece of video art lol
I think this is my all time fave MEGA64 skit, mostly because everyone is completley confused and doesn't know how to respond
I’ve seen a good chunk of this game. This is how I find out the two guys are a possible route. Amazing.
That felt like such an old skit. I love it.
