Hi Anika, I enjoy watching your wood working because you are easy to follow and you make easy to make projects. great video and the planter box arrangement you have done looks very nice. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful planters. Maybe I’m missing something, but 15° angles on planter box number three seems wrong. The legs will extend forever and never stand flat. Is it possible you meant 30°?
It helps to make sure you are sanding evenly. You scribble across your board, sanding it all off, and repeat as you progress through the sanding grits (100,120, etc)
Yes, using the scribble helps make sure you get even sanding across the whole board and just the right amount. I have a sanding video that explains a lot more and also the sanding grit sequences. th-cam.com/video/k9JLXge8ZyY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=6UnnD_LQWQ5dEAJY
You need 1 tool to do pocket holes, just the jig that angles your drill properly which costs about $20 or so, all the other clamps and such are optional in my experience.
I understand. There are a few basic tools you can start with - a saw, a power drill and a pocket hole jig. You should be able to build all of these with those.
These are great! I Loooooove the angled legs! Very MCM!
Yes!
Thank you!!! :)

I like the combination of the wood tone box with the black stand. Thanks, Anika.

Thanks for sharing! Do you recommend using treated cedar pickets or untreated?
How do you cut the 15 degree angle on the top and bottom of the legs on planter boxes #3
Can you include a link for the plainer?
These are great! BTW, what kind of pencil is that in the corner in the very beginning?
Why did you mark the boards with a pencil before sanding?

@@mikem2113 great idea! Thank you for the explanation!

Cute. 1hr and a 1/2 actually = day and a half. Just sanding itself takes 2 hours.
👌👌👌👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏💯💯💯
A little disappointed that everything relies heavily on pocket hole screws and all of the associated jigs and clamps.
Oh well. That’s how I roll. Feel free to use dowels instead.

Well Grumpy Ogre, at least you chose the right screen name.
I have the same Kreg and use it constantly. Looks much better than bulky screws!!!!
You can get a used one relatively cheap. That’s what I did.
