Saw someone suggesting a cheaper range of parts, I like seeing the parts in the wild and thinking oooh steezy, having a cheapo range would dilute the premium nature of the brand. Bas always seems to be encouraging everyone to get into riding and maybe some entry parts would help bring younger riders in to the brand but theres loads of entry level bikes on the market anyway, interested to see the way he takes it. other then wheels i built a whole custom bike up in like an hour and a half. and that included custom bending the lever, setting up a dual cable gyro with v brake noodles for the bends, putting on hubguards, de greasing and re-lubing the rear hub(i like a little bit of light grease on certain contact points and triflow for the rest) trimming bars and seat post, and i think even trimming a 14mm rear axle down on one side. lol.
lol try a 5k custom titanium frame with the highest end parts around. 19.5 pounds with front and back brakes with 4 pegs :P and its not a flatland bike. or you know my gary young inspired build www.pinkbike.com/photo/7115107/ cause you know animal is totally sold at walmart. oh also Van fucking Homan would like a word there boy.
