The plant you were asking about is a type of ctenanthe nick named the never never plant!!! I have one, they’re super low maintenance!

I think the plant is called ctenanthe lubbersiana golden mosaic. The Ctenanthe plant family is very similar to calatheas as you noticed. Plant shopping is everything. Nice beginning in the new house, girl !!

@@lindseyrem I have a 4 of the golden mosaics! They needs lots of humidity and filtered water cuz LA water is too harsh for them. They're hardier than typical prayer plant varieties so it's an easier step up from your philodendrons and pothos :) !!
