    Good job yaar... I'm a doctor and Ive been regularly making wines for the last three years or so . The process of brewing isn't difficult..it's the small steps involved in between which make the difference between a good and a better brew ... Good job

    It was very well explained & in easy steps and in short time. Thanks a lot!
    What minimum ageing duration do you recommend ? Also, would a 5 month old yeast bought from a bakery work? It was stored in fridge.

    • @HomebrewIndia
      @HomebrewIndia  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah yeast is fine. I personally recommend you to age it for at least 2 months before trying. It will help more pleasant flavours develop over time.

    Although you seem to have worked hard on it, adding the b-roll at the end of the video doesn't serve any purpose. It's just one entire boring minutes. It is like serving a couple of spoon full of salt at the end of a meal. The salt goes right inside the meal. Not served at the end separately right? Similarly, the b-roll should be blended within the main content of the video to increase visual appeal and connect with the audience. Great content by the way. Keep up the great work! :)

    4:19 Bread Yeast Alcohol tolerance is 8-10%??? Please share the link where have you read this. Bread Yeast hardly has a tolerance 2-3% max.
    Guys don't use bread Yeast or Normal yeast. It will not give you good falvour or alcohol content!!
    Invest in good brewing yeast!

    • @HomebrewIndia
      @HomebrewIndia  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      "Most bread yeast will ferment alcohol up to about 8% with ease, but when trying to produce alcohol beyond this level, the bread yeast begin to struggle, very often stopping around 9% or 10%."
      blog.eckraus.com/wine-making-bread-baking-yeast
      Every yeast strain is different in it's own way. Maybe your strain can't go that high but mine generally does.
      Secondly, I can't expect people to invest to yeast that costs 15x more than bread yeast for their first fermentation. That's why I started with bread yeast to let them gain interest. Once interest is developed, people will be happy to buy good wine yeast.

      Not true at all.. I've making wines for three years and I've made wines of pretty much all the fruits available in the market. Bread yeast yeilds good results with alcohol content up to 13&14%. I haven't used wine making yeast so can't comment on that.
