    As someone who has a severe auto-immune disease, juicing has definitely helped me. I think some of your comments are geared at someone hypothetically staying on a juice-only diet. Most people who juice do so for short periods of times. Not trying to rain on the parade here but I can't tell you how well juicing sprees have helped me.
    And it's different for everyone. If you live off of coffee, fast food, etc, you'll see a huge improvement in all sorts of areas. Finally giving your body what it needs goes a long way.

      * I wouldn't ever buy juices from a store though. Way overpriced and if you're going to juice, may as well make sure nothing else is added (like sugar, etc). And I am not saying juicing has some magical healing powers either.

    I think the biggest benefit from juices is that it can alter bad habits and correct course to engaging in new ones... Like if your eating emotionally, have 3 coffees a day and drink soda at every meal, challenging yourself to go on a 3-5-7 day juice cleanse will jolt your body into a reset and make it way easier for you to start new habits... like even if after the cleanse you decide to replace your breakfast every day with a green juice... that's huge

    Love this video! So happy Dr.Mike did this - he always has great advice. While I don't do a full "cleanse" I love drinking those healthy juices to get nutrients in my body when I haven't been eating enough of them. Also *guilty 🙋* I'll drink juices for 3 days before vacation to flatten my tummy and it works 💁

    This is odd… with all of the testimonials online and people who’s done it for long periods of time…, with AMAZING health results. Even the “FATHER OF MEDICINE” Hippocrates said that “YOUR FOOD IS YOUR MEDICINE” it’s strange that a doctor is speaking in a manipulative tongue saying that it isn’t beneficial, he’s from the “chemical doctrine” community.
    I guarantee he’s regurgitating what he learned in school instead of doing his own research and actually KNOWING.
    I get it… his bottom line is to keep you coming to people like him. If you knew you could heal yourself and rod yourself of disease with plants and herbs and alkaline foods and water, there would be no need for him.🤷🏿‍♂️

    I started this video at work and then reloaded it at home later on a different machine to finish. BOTH times the algorithm, I guess based on the title, gave me pre-video ads for cleanses or some equally quacky trend. Also there's a bar of ads under the video that are all 'Shop "juice cleanse'" with link to various "Jus by Julie" products and other fake juice crap. Sigh.

    Serious question then, if I am eating not as well as I want to be, can juicing be a way to decrease my appetite when I eat? I often have large portions and weightloss becomes stagnant for me cause I lose a little, then just stay there for a long time. Can juicing help me to feel fuller faster after 4-5 days of juicing?

    • @pillbobaggins2766

      try eating the fruits and vegetables, fibre in them helps you feel full

  • @Mfari444
    @Mfari444 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    I think smoothies are definitely better than juices! When you drink a smoothie, you’re at least getting all the fiber from the fruit and vegetables that you put in it. Where as in a juice where you’re just extracting all the sugar and drinking that. I avoid juices because I don’t think they taste as good and they’re a waste. But I love a smoothie every now and again... especially if it gets me my spinach!

    Juicing is surely beneficial for your health as you are not eating crap food and have much easier digestion, What I am surely against is the industry behind it. Part of the benefit of juicing/eating far more veggies and fruit is the change in lifestyle by taking time to prepare them, exercising, and getting to know what your body responds to.

    Interesting because I would bet money that Mike hasn’t actually tried a juice cleanse.
    If anyone has actually tried really increasing their supply of fresh fruits, vegetables and juice on a large level, they know how impactful it is. It will speak for itself once you experience it, much louder than a TH-cam doctor.

    I believe a juice cleanse can work for those trying to transition into a more whole foods diet after years of junk food diets. It basically gives your digestive system and immune system a boost of nutrients and gears you up to better enjoy healthier food options. I know I for one had a hard time transitioning to a healthier diet when I was younger because everything tasted to bland as opposed to the processed foods I ate several times a day. I wish I would of known of a juice cleanse when I was younger and it might of been a bit of a smoother transition haha lots of trial and error of what foods I did and didn't like and cooking them. Now whenever I go down that rabbit hole of junk food for whatever reason, I start a juice cleanse and it helps me appreciate food in its whole form.

    If juicing, n blending fruits don't help what else...foods we eat these days are horrible, so if you have a digest issue it helps drinking fruit juice or smoothies tremendously. I have had digestive issues as a young man, eating meat, rice all sorter disgusting foods you do not poopoo freely; you do lots of screaming when you are trying to defecate; it made it hard.
