Y'all need to understand the difference between dharma and religion. They are literally opposite to each other. Religion is a cult based upon the teaching of a person. If i want I can start a new religion today by my ideology. Dharm is peforming your duties. A student's dharm is to study and a doctor's dharm is to cure people. But there is one dharm which is common to all- that is righteousness. This righteousness is what we call Sanatan Dharm. And if you are dishonest and peform such actions which can harm mankind is called Adharm. So it can happen that all religions vanish but sanatan dharm is eternal and there would always be a torch bearer for it

Being religious is very demanding. you have to celebrate a lot of festivals due to society and peer pressure. You have to be very active and go person always preparing for next festival even if you are broken inside . This can be tiring and cumbersome for people especially for women who end up doing all the additional workload during festive preparations

I'm ok with the fact that you're an atheist. But not following religion because the existence of religion causes religious fights is just like saying wars happen because countries exist. Technically you're not wrong. But not following religion for that reason is laughable.
Pros: Religion makes people cultured, enlight them about helping others, being a good people, being a helpful person. Cons: Some people use god's name to kill people, to show extremism. Politicians use it as a tool for their vote bank.
The purpose of religion is not to feed. It is to teach you that the feeding the less fortunate is a virtue. Science will not teach that. Science and technology have always existed with human beings since the beginning, it is just that it has developed exponentially lately.

End of religion is rise of real Dharma. Both are different things. Unlike Religion, Dharma is not a set of fixed rules but comprises of fixed absolute principles like 'Vasudev Kutumbakam' (Inclusiveness) and evolving guidelines to realise those principles in reality. That is reason behind the Dharmic followers possesing high tolerance than the cult religions that are based on Exclusivity. Even Atheism and skeptism is included and accepted in Dharmic tradition as everyone is a born Atheist.
If atheism was included in dharmic tradition then 1. Topic on evolution wouldn't have been removed from textbooks 2. Same sex marriage wouldn't have been opposed in courts

I m a proud atheist. But I enjoy celebrating festivals. I really love reading mythologies. I visit religious sites as a tourist but without degrading anyone's believe. I question religion in private not in public. I believe humans created God. In ancient times, people made conclusions based on their observation. For those things, where there is no answer there the concept of God will come in place.
That's exactly what Dawkins said in an interview... That in ancient times people were mass illiterate, so they didn't have answers to normal phenomenons like rain, lightning , earthquake , droughts, tsunamis.... they thought an super natural entity from somewhere is causing these things to happen, so they name that entity as God and started worshiping it.
I was a hindu brahmin but now an atheist because there are animal and mythological gods in hinduism but why there is no dinosaur god if there can be lion, pig, horse, elephant monkey etc God's because there was no hinduism back then and i wasted my entire half life in this nonsense😢.

Another scientist Stephen Hawking , in his famous book " Brief Answers to Big Questions " gives scientific answer to the question "whether God exists " which is very important for every Indians to read. Superstitions and graded inequality in Hindu religion are the main reasons for decreasing its population.

As I see how people are using religion for their benefit the more I feel distant to religion. There was a time I used to believe but not anymore as I started seeing things with a rational perspective and question things. For me now they are just part of a story.

Using the satbuddhi given by Adishakti, making of laws and pushing the society in ways that it leads to overall reduction in "kaam, krodh, lobh, moh" sexual misbehaviour, anger, greed (correlate it with excess consumerism) and unnecessary attachment. Depending upon the Desh, Kaal and Patra (Time, Place and Context) we have to use this Satbuddhi to make for a better society.

If God were real, he must have saved the girl. But he didn't. Conclusion: God is only powerful but not good. OR God is only good but not so powerful. But since, God must be powerful AND good. He can't exist. You can check the recent case of Delhi. (A 4 yrs old girl is assaulted). Earthquakes and tsunamis are just another example.

Y'all need to understand the difference between dharma and religion. They are literally opposite to each other. Religion is a cult based upon the teaching of a person. If i want I can start a new religion today by my ideology. Dharm is peforming your duties. A student's dharm is to study and a doctor's dharm is to cure people. But there is one dharm which is common to all- that is righteousness. This righteousness is what we call Sanatan Dharm. And if you are dishonest and peform such actions which can harm mankind is called Adharm.
So it can happen that all religions vanish but sanatan dharm is eternal and there would always be a torch bearer for it

Being religious is very demanding. you have to celebrate a lot of festivals due to society and peer pressure. You have to be very active and go person always preparing for next festival even if you are broken inside . This can be tiring and cumbersome for people especially for women who end up doing all the additional workload during festive preparations

Both are different things. Unlike Religion, Dharma is not a set of fixed rules but comprises of fixed absolute principles like 'Vasudev Kutumbakam' (Inclusiveness) and evolving guidelines to realise those principles in reality.
That is reason behind the Dharmic followers possesing high tolerance than the cult religions that are based on Exclusivity.
Even Atheism and skeptism is included and accepted in Dharmic tradition as everyone is a born Atheist.

I believe humans created God. In ancient times, people made conclusions based on their observation. For those things, where there is no answer there the concept of God will come in place.
That's exactly what Dawkins said in an interview... That in ancient times people were mass illiterate, so they didn't have answers to normal phenomenons like rain, lightning , earthquake , droughts, tsunamis.... they thought an super natural entity from somewhere is causing these things to happen, so they name that entity as God and started worshiping it.

3. If God were real, he must have saved the girl. But he didn't.
Conclusion:
God is only powerful but not good. OR God is only good but not so powerful. But since, God must be powerful AND good. He can't exist.
You can check the recent case of Delhi. (A 4 yrs old girl is assaulted).

परन्तु जो इनको दण्ड देने में असमर्थ या वश के बाहर हो, उन ‘नास्तिकों’ से समझदार और विद्वान ब्राह्मण कभी वार्तालाप ना करे।
