    Bro, this the most I’ve ever paid attention to an engine build… ish had me on the edge of my seat like “when’s the dude from Unsolved Mysteries gonna pop out and tell us something trippy?” 😂 Smart music choice though, really had me on focus frfr 💯

    Going with a .020 2 layer gasket, was the head or block decked?

      I think head was. Don’t know how much. Still plenty of room.

    Great vid! I'm also planning on building my b20 vtec. Do I need to put darton sleeves to make it safe revving 10k rpm?

      Nop. Springs/retainers and good size cams

I'm about to install skunk2 pro 3 camshaft and other head parts like dual valve springs etc and just wondering if I could make the buttom part durable like replacing some parts like eagle rods, forged piston, race bearing... thanks for the advice sir

      @@mccoy8457 can't rev to 10K without aftermarket strong Rods... U have to strengthen the whole bottom end... And look out for the Piston to Valve contact with the bigger cams.

      Don’t put any block guards on any build. Even turbo. With the good tune there is no problems.

      @@2_2_4_3 do i just leave the stock sleeve? I got eagle rods, forged pistons, acl race bearings, arp head and rod bolts. What else for a safe 10k rpm?

    Are you not getting unfiltered oil fed to the vtec and cams from that sandwhich plate setup?

      @@UNIQUEGrills there is I know but it's just a mesh larger than the filter material inside an oil filter. I have this setup too on my b20v. I have edelbrock 4730 cam inside it, have you heard of them cams?

      @@UNIQUEGrills btw you should drill holes lining up to the head coolant jacket in the headgasket so you don't create a hot spot on the side of that cylinder 4 or is it 1 I can't remember.

    The tensioner requires no extra effort to tighten, if the slack isn’t gone after a couple revolutions then u have a bad tensioner

      Or old spring that pulls tensioner. Tensioner is brand new.

    Awesome vid, did you use vtec or non vtec head gasket? I saw the subtitle showing 84mm gasket, but the ports didnt line up exactly.

      Kennin Simmons It’s a custom ls-vtec one. Because there is no 84mm vtec out there.

      @@UNIQUEGrills nice, im in the middle of building my 1st b20 vtec and i used a 84mm golden eagle gasket which uses a bored out vtec head gasket. Yours looked like mine. Really just curious as to which gasket has worked for you with your builds.

      Kennin Simmons A lot of people using Cometic which is the best. But I wanted something thinner to higher my compression.

      @@UNIQUEGrills thanks for sharing the knowledge on the vtec lock ball bearing.mine is i use a crank bolt treaded from the chamber side on the head where the spark plug goes i lock the 4 valves on that combustion chamber then hit the spring retainer whit a deep socket thats to do a valve replacement quick i sub keep the videos coming
