I was there 3 years ago and have only to agree with your opinion. It is nice isle, bit boring but very quiet and worth to see it. I made music video on the coast of this isle, it is on TH-cam under name Jozef Žemla - Ladyboy from Bangkok. So you can see the coast. Be aware the music video is garbage :D Thank you for nice video. My soul is still there :D

Thanks for the video. I was searching for places to buy Thai food on the island for my girlfriend (resort Thai food isnt quite the same) so I'm sure one of my daily jobs will be to pick up some food from that little food court lol

Both islands are beautiful, Koh Samet is about 3hrs drive from Bangkok and then a boat ride to the island. Koh Samui is around 460km by plane from Bangkok.

I was there in mid-march 2020,Bars were closed about 17th March because of Covid 19.Stayed there for 6 days left 21st March,Beaches became deserted,Most bars on the beaches were closed.Have been 5 times to the island.Never disappoints.Be careful of the Bart buses at the Ferry terminal on the island some are a ripoff.

i was there during the tsunami in 2004. We for some unknown but lucky reason changed our Phuket reservations to Ko Samet for that weekend. I would no doubt be dead as I go to the beach in the morning before the sun is hot.

I live in Bangkok and in my opinion the accomadation at the back of 7/11 maybe 200m from the beach is the best place to stay. Avoid the resorts! it's not 5 star but has aircon, near everything

i've been to this nice island three times. i wish u covered the full length of the main road including the new hotels and restaurants to the right of the pier. nice job.

Yes I wished I covered the full length, i tried to however I was on a push bike and those hills prevented me going further. I'm actually planning on going back soon to video the rest of the Island. Thanks for watching mate
