What we missed in Midnight Motorist - FNAF Timeline Revelation

Midnight Motorist has always troubled FNAF fans. Today, I attempted to shed some light on the dark areas of FNAF and to give a new perspective on the minigame. This theory seeks to explain why everything that we see in midnight motorist happens. I am working on a part 2 that will further explain this minigame and how it relates to the rest of the lore, tying into FNAF 1, 4, and 5. Being the supposed protagonist of many of the FNAF games, Michael Afton is a huge piece of this puzzle and finding out his story will ultimately lead to the solving of Five Nights at Freddy's. Part 2 will explain more of Michael's role in the series and explain in detail some of his history that we've overlooked for years.

@@bonswootchThis makes so much sense now about midnight motorist the way you silently talk to just adds to the creepyness and mysterious of the mini-game Scott always intended on hiding secrets in his mini games the color wheel with the cars theory makes so much now including the Pile of Dirt awesome video keep up the good work so underrated

Idk about everything but JRs being where mrs afton works actually makes a lot of sense, i love this theory! It also explans why WIlliams yellow, i've always thought michael was the one on the couch not mrs afton and this theory backs that up, only critique is i like matpats theory of the dirt being a place for anamatronics from the twisted ones to hide because i like howit connects things but i also like the theory that it's the box because it makes sense and is part of fnaf 4 along with tying up an important unsolved piece of fnaf lore
I saw MatPat's video. I said that the dirt pile wasn't Twisted Ones because they are described as burying themselves during the day and coming out at night. Since this game appears at midnight, any Twisted Ones should be active, not buried. That's my take at least :)
@@bonswootch actually that makes a lot of sense, I just like the twisted ones tbh but the more I think about it the more that pile of dirt belonging to them makes no sense, especially as you said they'd be active at night when the game is set :)
Wasn't expecting s video of this quality, it's very well done and you've got some interesting new theorys. Never thought of the box being an actual item and being hidden by William but it would make sense. Keep the good work!

There are a few things that don't add up imo but overall this is a good theory. I think this is one of if not the best theories of what is in the box that I have seen. It makes so much sense with the 'some things are better left forgotten for now' line being recontextualised into a teaser for the next game, it makes sense that William would want to hide the blueprints so no one knows what happened to Elizabeth, I can't fault it at all tbh.

pretty cool theory but hard to say:
-i think its still pretty plausible that jr's could still be a bar, its a bar sounding name, has a bouncer outside, and william's posture and bad driving in the arcade minigame mm itself seems to suggest he may be driving drunk, the bouncer having to kick him out because he's drunk. maybe william revisits it by mistake or optional since we visit it, or thinking he can slip by in a not sound state of mind
-the security breach therapy cds with Vanesa's cover story seem to represent elizabeth, william, and mrs afton, and in it Vanesa (in the place of elizabeth) is fought over custody in court for by her dad Bill (short for william) against her mom (Mrs. Afton) so likely the separation/divorce happens first, then elizabeth is in william's custody, then elizabeth dies
-the opposite colors on the color wheel are sooo close but it seems there a few colors away, it seems pretty sus thou since it might imply the 3 customer cars could also all be yellow people which might imply the colors of the people don't necessarily mean something related to identity, and purple is changed to yellow in mm so hard to say, as well when u said they were complementary colors or something i was personally expecting mrs. aftons car to be yellow, since purple car is yellow guy, i was thinking maybe yellow car for puple lady but kinda hard to say
-the tech used for sl and cbpw seem to be based off william's knowledge about possession which is why i think elizabeth would die after charlie or the mci kids first
-hard to say if bv was experimented on with nightmares first since the bite of 83 is labeled as obsv1, and the nightmares are labeled as obsv2, as if the bite of 83 was the first observatory to be thought of
-the box's description of "What's in the box? the pieces put together." (in an interview with scott and dawko i think), and following the bite of 83 where it says bv needs to be put back together, i feel it should relate to bv or the pieces in some way, as well mike seems to know about the box and its origins as the grey text saying "some things are best left forgotten" over the box is likely mike's similar grey foxybro text (different shade of grey actually but definitely similar) so not unless mike knew what bv saw was circus baby, and the blueprints are the pieces put back together it's hard to fit the description of the box to it, as well henry was able to get the blueprints for the scooper, so odd for william not burry the scooper blueprints there also (unless the blueprints were all at the bunker)
-assuming mike has the box, he probably didnt find it by william's instructions as the instructions were likely referring to the bunker being right where william said it would be
-henry also might have the sl animatronic blueprints not in a box as in his insanity ending speech he says "Small souls trapped in prisons of my making now set to new purpose and used in ways I never thought imaginable." meaning henry knows what the sl animatronics do and that its horrible, so not unless the box got passed over or something its tricky, henry also finds the blueprints and stores them in his secret egg baby log without mike knowing so he probably didnt get the box from mike

I like your theory! But I don't get how Elizabeth could die before the crying child. Sure, we have a lot of evidence from FNAF 4 like the empty girl's bedroom, William spying on CC etc. But why would William make a killer robot like Circus baby before any of his children died? He has a reason right? Elizabeth's death could only fit in after the bite of '83 for this reason.
If Elizabeth died to a Funtime before CC and possibly Charlie, then William would have to be a child murdering psychopath BEFORE any loss of his children, because we must remember that the Funtime lineup is SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED TO KIDNAP CHILDREN.
I’m not saying that this is impossible for William to be a murderous psychopath, but in a narrative perspective it’s a bit underwhelming without a twist.
But it’s a nice theory to prove how Michael is the player in FNAF 1 and 4! I forgot he drew the nightmares in the survival logbook, proving he KNEW the nightmare animatronics

slight issue the funtimes can't exist until post 1985 (the MCI) if you swapped the tragic event to the bite the theory would hold more water

I don't think you can make a parallel between cars and people, orange/yellow man uses a purple car, but how do you know which car belongs to who? and why would mrs afton that never appeared in the games be purple but william not?
I still don't buy the orange man is William, or that the crying child that is so scared of clearly people in costumes to hide under a table would follow one outside his house by breaking a window.
I will explain my theory further in the part 2 that I am working on. I am proposing that the CC doesn't follow an animatronic, he runs out of his house away from one. I know whose car is who because of the color of each and its correlation to the color of each character.
