The fact that they looked inwards toward the community to ask what THEY needed makes me want to support this brand even more. So many times an employer ask what a labor force can do for them, rarely is it ever flipped!

I love how Walter and Jesse were able to reconcile after everything that happened. They learned from their mistakes and decided to use their hard earned experience to start a successful new legal empire. Truly inspiring!

It's incredible how much these guys love each other. Most shows, movies, etc. Sure the cast becomes family. Best friends and whatnot but these guys always seem to find a way to stay closer than close. It's amazing.

If you just watch at the substance itself, pure in its form, Alcohol is the most harmful drug, for yourself and others. There are multiple studies about the difference in harm of drugs and alcohol consistently ranks at no 1 most damaging and harmful drug.
Massive respect for both of them, they founded a business that keeps their partnership alive even after breaking bad and can also give back to the community.

I have a feeling with how long Cranston and Paul spent in New Mexico (and in turn, the amount of time they probably spent in Mexico), they have a fondness for the country and a strong understanding of the country and culture.
No worries. Giancarlo Esposito and Jonathan Banks will likely start their own Tequila brand a few years from now called “Dos Hermanos”. No but seriously this is amazing. Congrats to Bryan and Paul for their Mezcal brand and also creating jobs and helping an impoverished community in Mexico.

Exactly! This is the difference between Kendall Jenners brand of Tequila and other celebrities with "traditional" Central/South American spirits that just slap their name on it and call it a day. Bryan and Aaron not only respect the cultures that make these spirits, but specific communities as well that are making them all this money in the first place!

We Mexicans truly hate how lately so many celebrities are slapping their name to Tequila and Mezcal just to profit from our culture. But there's people like Bryan and Aaron who actually deep dive into the history of those drinks, spend a long time in our land, meet the workers, even know them by name, and just fully immerse themselves in it and it becomes appreciation instead of appropriation and when all that happens we love that notorious people like them can take the taste and history of Mexico around the world. And then on top of that they're also improving the quality of the community their workers live in, and know very well how to sell authentic but not stereotypical, and it's all we could ever ask from a business. Dos Hombres is a great brand that reflects the greatness of it's two owners.
He mentioned the Mezcal Maestro by name; that's enough for me to give this brand a try. So different from other celebrities who make a Tequila or Mezcal brand but do not care about the Mexican culture.

I happen to be a huge fan of BB. I love the story of Jesse. The redemption arc. Anyway… on to the good stuff. I got REAL acquainted with their mezcal when the first Covid lockdown happened. I gotta say. It’s a real fine product. Would love to meet these guys one day and thank them for turning me on to a great show and creating a loved product of their own.
Do you mix it with anything or do you just drink it straight? Would it make a good margarita?
@@stevencoardvenice you could use it in a margarita, but I would recommend you sip it neat first. My favorite go to cocktail was 1 oz of lime juice, 1 oz of pure squeeze mango purée (BevMo) and 2 oz of Dos Hombres. Garnish with a slice of jalapeño. Shaken not stirred.

It’s cool too see that they’re producing drugs like they do in Breaking Bad. It seems like a nice company and I’d be interested in trying their drink. However, it’s important that the Mexican traditions and local communities are respected.

Out of all the new “tequila” brands I’m seeing pop up in the market that are owned by major movie stars or singers this one actually stands out. They’re being very transparent about the way they cultivate this mezcal. They have the money so they invest it something they fell in love with & I can respect that. Many brands that are owned by famous people slap a label with their name on a bottle & expect it to sell like crack in the 80’s. Kylie Jenner, p-diddy, George Clooney all have made tequilas. And they weren’t the best besides clooneys previously owned tequila “casamigos”. Keep “cooking” up this tequila fellas. I’ll have to pick up a bottle and try it myself.
Agree but as you said, Clooney actually did it right. Casamigos is top tier. I was a little skeptical about Dos Hombres due to the mixed reviews and still haven't tried it but this vid changed my view on it a bit. Will have to see myself how it really is.
@@Ryan88881 I’ve only ever had the casamigos blanco, and honestly I didn’t like it much. It was “alright” in my book but I’m sure the anejo and extra anejo might be good. I usually drink don julio 70. That’s my tequila of choice.
@@salh.8013 Hm, idk about that one. I'm more of an anejo guy at the end of the day but casamigos blanco was pretty damn good too. I even threw up a little in my mouth once when drinking it (not because of the taste) but had to swallow it back up because it was that good and smooth. I have no idea what brand one would like if they didn't like casamigos considering there's really nothing better, it's just as good as Patron and Don Julio if not better and those are basically the best go-to tequilas. It's definitely beyond the point of just being "alright". It's smooth and is almost a perfect tequila so with all due respect I can't say I really understand what you mean by being just alright. It is absolutely one of the better ones out there. Patron, Casamigos and Don Julio are the holy trinity as far as I'm concerned. The reviews for Casamigos aren't nearly as mixed as that of Dos Hombres btw.

There are hundreds of tequilas better than Casamigos, Asombroso and Casa Dragones come to mind. And let’s not compare tequila with mezcal, different plant and different process to make them.
After finishing breaking bad, having that spirit made by these two is like having a connection with them.

I remember from the early breaking bad insider podcasts Bryan saying that it is very easy to spot a lazy actor from a hard working one. That Aaron never said no to him to work on lines, scenes, etc. They spent everyday, every hour not shooting basically honing their characters and i guess that breeds respect and a strong bond/friendship when another actor cares as much as you do about the roles they take on. So this is nice to see the friendship continues after their work on Breaking Bad was done. If no one has checked out but Aaron Paul's work/ executive production, etc on Bojack Horseman is just fantastic.
Bryan looks even happier mixing this up than he was cooking in the show.

This is the good ending to breaking bad
I’ve never had a Mezcal that compares to the brews that Mexican people shared with me from their own home brew stash. Certainly I’d be interested in trying this brand but I’m sure it costs a lot money. In Mexico I bought a liter for just a couple of dollars and another time I was gifted a liter that was an experience that I’ve never forgotten.
Breaking Bad is a masterpiece in storytelling and character arcs. Jesse's redemption is one the best things to ever come out of television. Walter's descent into becoming a truly terrible person is a truly sad thing to watch but it's so captivating that you can't look away even though you can see the train wreck happening in slow motion. Will be supporting them in this Legal Empire.
I have an uncle in Mexico called Don Eladio. He is also a very honorable businessman and I think they should show him their product

That’s just so nice, I just wish you both would have taken the time to meet all the fans that made you what you are instead of dipping after 20 minutes and leaving people standing around with your $100 bottles and having them walk back to their cars disappointed. if you cannot meet everyone then just have people pull numbers and then cut off the number of fans you are able to meet. That just made me loose all my respect for both of you and I’m glad I didn’t waste my time showing up and I USED to be a Breaking Bad fan.
I hope in their commitments to do this venture right, that they hired Oaxacan people not only for manufacturing but at the higher levels (and higher wages) of the business as well.
