I just saw her in Hawaii. Her singing was BEYOND PHENOMENAL, especially in defying gravity. That high note brought me to tears, it was so beautiful. This woman has an amazing voice. Bravo!
I envy all of the singer actresses, who get to play my dream Broadway character, Elphaba. The green make-up & that heavy Act 2 gown is worth it to portray this character in professional productions of Wicked. Dee is right when she finds a green patch on her body, or green acne, that’s a badge of theatre honor that’s worn with pride.
I love how when everytime she leaves she leaves her green hand print just as a memory for the company to know that she is always around and being in other company's:)
Margaret Hamilton graduated from the school I attended. Makes me feel really special knowing that someone that talented walked the same halls of the school I did. ♥ Whenever I see videos of Wicked on TH-cam I keep thinking of that :)
It depends on when you saw the show. If you saw it between January- Early June, you saw her, or if you saw it from September-Closing Night, you saw Dee. Lisa Brescia took over briefly from June- August. :)
Kevin Worrall A no fly show is when whoever plays Elphaba doesn’t get to rise into the air at the climax of defying gravity because there’s a problem with the flying apparatus.
They gotta have the other Elphaba's in the past come back to put their green hand prints as well on the door. I'm talking Idina, Shoshana, Eden, Ana, Julia, Stephanie, and Kerry.
It’s 2am I’m watching old broadway.com videos and at the end she kicks them out and then it sings no one mourns the wicked. My brain went to the conclusion that they got mad and Dorothy didn’t kill Elphaba it was broadway.com
Really? When did they become available? I checked before I wrote that comment, and as far as I could tell, weren't. Who are they available through? (MTI, Theatrical Rights Worldwide, etc.)
Just so you know (although I'm sure you're done with your show, at this point), I wouldn't go around announcing that you played Elphaba, since the license isn't available. You could get into a lot of trouble for doing the show. Hope it went well, though:)
I loved Dee as elphaba when I came to see the show with my High school choir in Chicago in 2008. It was my first time seeing a broadway show, and I fell in love, so technically, Dee, u were my inspiration to take up musical theater. Thank u!!!!! :>
i love how the typo in the title has never been fixed
Yeah but we know what they mean
@@Broadwaygirl918 ELPHABS

Ah, yes. Elphabs, the wicked, and less renounced, witch of the South-West.
It's strange how they didn't title it correctly...
Lol yes. They put elphabs
not sure who this "Elphabs" is but Elphaba is an amazing character
That’s sweet that her manager told her that she will play Elphaba someday. And look at her now. What a great manager!
I just saw her in Hawaii. Her singing was BEYOND PHENOMENAL, especially in defying gravity. That high note brought me to tears, it was so beautiful. This woman has an amazing voice. Bravo!

She seems so sweet.
OMG Craig looks so different from when Lindsay has him
When he came in I was like 'omg Craig?!?!'
Nadinexxx IKR!!
Omg! Craig looks so nerdy in this video compared to the episodes of "Fly Girl!"
I thought that! He looks so much different!
She was the first Elphaba I saw!! (In Chicago)
Just here to say that, 14 years later, in 2023, as Wicked readies to celebrate its 20th anniversary…
Dee is still Elphabs.
Dee was my Elphaba when I saw Wicked in November 2009! She was phenomenal! A great show to see as my first NYC broadway show!

I just saw Wicked tonight ... LOOOOVED IT! Dee Roscioli and Patti Murin were amazing!
I'd give just about anything to meet Dee. Saw her in 2011 at the Kennedy Center, these videos just make her seem so down to earth a and fun!
I envy all of the singer actresses, who get to play my dream Broadway character, Elphaba. Saw her perform on Saturday such an amazing Elphaba. I even got to meet her.

I want Dee to be Elphaba if/when they make a Wicked movie. She's just so cool and adorable and lovely and talented.

Holy..Craig is Breedlove! I only know of him from being in Lady Gaga's crew all the time. I had no idea he did makeup for Broadway. So cool

Margaret Hamilton graduated from the school I attended. Makes me feel really special knowing that someone that talented walked the same halls of the school I did. ♥ Whenever I see videos of Wicked on TH-cam I keep thinking of that :)
She is showing all her Elepba collection
It was like March/April (I went during a high school choir competition) so I had Dee :) I was wondering for the longest time!
Dee Roscioli is one of my favorite Elphabss
It depends on when you saw the show. If you saw it between January- Early June, you saw her, or if you saw it from September-Closing Night, you saw Dee. Lisa Brescia took over briefly from June- August. :)
I love her merch. She's the biggest Wicked fan lol. She makes a beautiful Elphaba
she is a splediferously wonderful person with a extravagant sense of humour.
My favorite song is For good
Elphabs?
wow.
Dee was my Elphaba when I saw the show on Broadway, my first show, and it was a no-fly show... #SoDissapointing, but she was amazing!
What do you mean by a no-fly show?
Kevin Worrall A no fly show is when whoever plays Elphaba doesn’t get to rise into the air at the climax of defying gravity because there’s a problem with the flying apparatus.
no other elphaba would go off into detail over their boyfriends son and photos and names :D ahh dear, gotta love Dee
They gotta have the other Elphaba's in the past come back to put their green hand prints as well on the door. I'm talking Idina, Shoshana, Eden, Ana, Julia, Stephanie, and Kerry.
i love dee shes hilarious
How interesting! I saw her very recently for Wicked though my favorite Elphie is SJB from her rendition of Defying Gravity. ^^
Awww she's fun :)

Yes the last time I saw him he was in the video is Lindsay Mendez and his hair was super long!!
It’s 2am I’m watching old broadway.com videos and at the end she kicks them out and then it sings no one mourns the wicked. My brain went to the conclusion that they got mad and Dorothy didn’t kill Elphaba it was broadway.com

My favorite song is defeating Gravity
9:23 Yes, yes is it.
How are the rights out if its currently on broadway?
The title is spelled wrong. It's Elphaba
Roscioli is Elphaba
Dee reminds me of a young Ricki Lake -- idk why, but she does.....
I have a teacher with the same initials as Katie Rose Clarke.
She is in the same dressing room Lindsay was in.
She was before Lindsay
Oh yeah way before .
She’s in the same room as Idinas... the OG
Really? When did they become available? I checked before I wrote that comment, and as far as I could tell, weren't. Who are they available through? (MTI, Theatrical Rights Worldwide, etc.)
7:31 omg elphie laugh
You... are so lucky *_*
Elphabs??
Oh the Elphabs before Lindsay Mendez. Right.
OMO! She is like a more appropriate Jenna Marbles
I think I had Dee as Elphaba. I saw it in Chicago in 2008. (Can someone confirm or correct me?)
Just so you know (although I'm sure you're done with your show, at this point), I wouldn't go around announcing that you played Elphaba, since the license isn't available. You could get into a lot of trouble for doing the show. Hope it went well, though:)
