I normally do not watch Walleye videos especially the ones fishing planks but yours are pretty dam cool and really enjoy watching the kids catch fish. Almost makes me wish I was back in Washington fishing the Columbia with my dad.
Another excellent video. You are doing a great job with your boys. John looks like he's well on his way to becoming an excellent angler. Could you tell me a bit about your bow mounted trolling motor. I'm about to install one on my boat and am wondering how much battery capacity I need. What voltage and what battery capacity (Ah) do you have? About how many hours trolling for these walleye does this give you? Thanks for your input, and please continue making these enjoyable videos.
I have the 12v Ionic Lithium Batteries. You would need to pair two of them as most motors are 24v. Batteries I have are the 125amp they will last me 2-3 trips without recharging. You can get smaller amp batteries from ionic, they would require a charge after every trip. Here's a link for the ones I own only slightly less amps: amzn.to/3PhWujQ Hope that helps!
You sir deserve "Father of the Decade" award. Those kids are so lucky to have a father like you!!
John is becoming quite the fishermen. Always brings a smile to my face with the excitement of the boys. Looks like a great day on the water.
Great Job Dad! Way to go showing these youngsters how to fish. And Walleyes too boot! Delicious!

What a day huh. Weather, river, and company👍 curious what model is your widow?
I have the StR 933-2/Fast/Med Light Works out great for me. 👍
@@Pacific_NW just started getting into Edge Rods. 924 and 925 with Sam’s 902. So much fun. Your white widow is gonna cost me more $$$. 😉🥃🇺🇸
What rods are you using? Nice fish!
curious where are you launching from?
Awesome Video. Was this recent?
What length and action rods do you recommend ?
I use 8 foot 6 med light for steelhead in S. Oregon. Would those work ? OR ??
Those will work!
It would be nice if they fixed that launch. The drop off on both sides are terrible.
👍🏻
Do you go with or against the current?
Usually with but you can go against
No life jackets on kids
Thanks for your concern. Rest assured, they are wearing life jackets! They’re under their coats! 👍🏻
7:20 both wearing lifejackets!
What no life jackets
