I really feel like the MCU figure and this figure should have swapped around colours, Red Skull in the MCU was a very flat red whereas in the comics it varies leaning more towards the darker look, on the figures it's the opposite. Still, it's only a nitpick.

I’ve wanted a classic red skull for so long so glad we got him. Definitely my favorite figure from the wave but I wish the elbows and knees didn’t look so weird but is what it is. I think the red could be a little darker or add some wash to it, like the iron skull head is my favorite red skull head ever but the angry one here is my 2nd favorite
I put the Iron Skull head on the Spider-Man Noir body, and that's my Red Skull now, but it won't work on this body because of the neck color. Perhaps a black wash for the neck?

I love this new neck and head articulation for this new body specifically. It annoys me to no end that they’ve been making the neck a separate piece for the last year but with no motion at all at the bottom of the neck.
I drilled a hole in the gun front and used a blue repulsion ray effect from Ironman for a gun fire effect and it really looks great with the captain America 45th edition aimed at the shield
If it had an overall wash, a ball jointed torso, a ball jointed waist and the knees and elbows weren't so weird it would be perfect for a 20USD action figure. Thanks for the review Shartimus.

In your usual perfection I'm surprised the red skull party didn't include the armored red skull and mcu 10 years red skull/hydra soldier, both of which you reviewed in the past, and the only other red skulls i have, which is why i noticed probably, not a critique or complaint or a gotcha, i just wondered if there was a reason?
Great review! In regards to the gun, it seems to be the same gun used for Maverick (I confess I didn't check it, just try to remember from my mind lol).
Can you do headswaps like the Madrox head and the Infamous Iron Man Victor von Doom head and see what it looks like under The Hood. I think the Demogoblin head works for a demonic head too.
It's also one of the guns they included for Maverick. I wanna say it was included with another figure aside from Starlord as well, but my memory sucks. Part of me still really likes the Mandroid wave Red Skull compared to this one. I never noticed the differences in the glaring color of the green plastic on his knees and elbows until seeing this review. That's going to bother me now. I think using the identical body mold on Dormammu is sheer laziness. I'm conflicted. All the new sculpts seemed to be getting better though.
My Walmart is one wave behind everyone else’s,and I am going to be getting the iron man wave I think,but I visited Walmart for camping supplies and decided to check out the marvel legends,they had none,but I walk over to clearance and they had the entire wave on clearance,I had just bought some expensive camping supplies and decided to get one,and I chose red skull
Just ordered the Sideshow version that looks like this. Even though I no longer collect marvel legends, (I collect Hot Toys now) I still enjoy ur videos 👍
Got mine and replaced my mandroid wave one it’s a good figure was only made when my xemnu neck joint was locked and not amount of heat or cold could loosen it had to buy a replacement head on ebay
This was the one I was most excited for from this wave. Captain America is my favorite super hero and every previous Red Skull figure has been ass compared to this one.
Did anyone else get a strange right trigger hand? Mine was molded with a horizontal joint, but after it didn't move and some heat, turns out it was a side to side disc hinge that was pinned in like any other side to side hinge, wasn't stuck in by mistake, and functioned as normal, meaning the exterior mold was for a up down hinge but worked as a side to side after the soft plastic tore. Wish i could post pics, its weird, nothing I've seen before and i measure my collection in tens of boxes....
