It’s how I was taught to be efficient. Broke out the ramp and then used a bobcat to finish out the core of it after the trackhoe dug the outline out cleanly. Good 2 day project.

Wheel loaders/front loaders are built for surface work. Trac-hoes/excavators are built for below ground, only minor gripe.
