Crazy moment. I got home from work but did stop by my bank for a box of pennies and turned to this video. The exact instant you were talking of the 1968 D over D I happen to look down at what I had in my hand and I am holding this exact coin. I’m still learning a lot from watching some of the credible guys like yourself. I do enjoy and appreciate your videos sir.
I renew my cherry picker's guide, & my as up to date as I can get error guide & my 2024 coin guide and all the books that i still grab certain ones of when I do have time to go thought a roll or two b/c things are always changing. The books are invaluable I keep a binder with filler paper labeled with notes bc people give some things that are not in the books. I know that no matter how much I have learned, I have tons more to know My Grandpa taught me tons when I was young and the advice you give is someone who is exp. & people should list when you say " remember to enjoy the hobby" If it's making you money , hey that is great. some people know it is best to follow someone who speaks like that bc it saves getting stressed and not learning what one really needs. It took you years. I am strong in one thing & not another so I am patient.
Had the find of a lifetime yesterday, found a 1971 no s 5c in a roll heading to pcgs Monday. Hope my coin make it on the market report if i decide to sell it haha
Yes, I actually have a couple of in demand Lincoln pennies, yet not sure if I should bother grading them or not? Mine are 1960 small date DDO (TWO!) and I have a couple of other interesting pennies that need a numismatist to help me value/find a way to sell them.
I have a 1966 Penny with cudd error on the reverse in the (ece) of one cent . And a 1983 with a die crack out of the E in on (e) cent. Any value to these coins ? Worthy of grading ? Or just not enough value to worry about.
