I just went there a couple of weeks ago. The atmosphere felt really heavy on the lower floors, it really drained me. I saw some blobs of light at the end of a hallway, and tiny blue lights. My sister caught some shadow people in a picture..
I like it!! That was a way cool show! A haunted bed & breakfast, gift shops & bed & breakfast for most of the building, except for the 4th floor. Ghost hunting on the 4th floor. Excellent idea
My mom had TB a little over a year before I was born but she wasn’t at the Waverley ,unfortunately because of the meds she was on I was born legally deaf. The Waverley is a beautiful building and it was built in the hopes of healing people and they had a good idea
The Mattinglys are great people. I disagree about the bed and breakfast though. To save it? It's like $1200-1500 for an 8hr private investigation. Volunteers and unseen entities working. No utilities. It sounds like a bed and breakfast including the *option to access the 4th floor would be more for generational wealth. Especially for what they bought it for.
Cc Thomas is wrong with her facts. Only 1 in 5 survived the thoracoplasty. This information is found in the American medical journal. There is not much use for this surgery after 1950 per the literature.
The historical part at the beginning was interesting but as soon as they started talking about the supposed hauntings the show became laughable. The one guy who “challenged” the spirits and then had the supposed evidence materialize...I think that was what might be commonly referred to as a flying insect. I think the owners keep talking about the place being haunted because it keeps those tour dollars rolling in.
I am sure they have things occurring but why do these places not have 24/7 video running recording letting people monitor kind of like Seti? You know people would find evidence if it were there to find. The paranormal community would watch these places religiously looking with constant video. Not hard to set up live webcams.
Made me realise noone wa Ted to buy this but these people fount a way and multiple help with multiple loans and these events and shit they paid this off already best believe
When my dad was alive he was a volunteer security there. As a kid I went there almost every weekend. Best memories of my father
Scot you had the best one being with your dad in Waverly I know you have story
I’ve been living in Louisville for 13yrs & this explains a lot of the questions I’ve had in the weird shit that goes on here.
Our group has there last year and we're coming back this summer for a two night event. Loved this place.

I saw the shadow people there, too.
Did your parents ever have you tested for retardation?

Oh I love to hear the stories about this place. I live maybe 2 hours away and I’m ready to go back! It’s literally calling my name!
Did u get to stay overnight? How does it work?
@@kandikaye4405 I didn’t stay but I would love too.
I live by Waverly and I really want to go.
Poor audio production makes this good for sleeping.
Least the dead know thier loved and welcome there as they can come and go as pleased but they love it there and they don't see it run down👍

This surgery is still around today, it didn't vanish when Streptomycin was created. Just like Pneumothorax, that's still around today.
I have always wanted to overnight here!!!! Is it still possible!!?? Thank you for sharing this!!!!#allaboutghosts #highinKy
Like Ms. Fani Willis said "office romances are as common as apple pie but ga the cesspool of the south wants to question a office romance
