This has become my go-to for when I really want to savor the energy of a drummer who embodies the flow of his performance. something about it really resonates with me and I'm eternally grateful this is recorded 😍
i wanna learn to drum that quick especially with the snare rolls out of this world level speed onthose icl i feel my punk/hardcore drumming abilities have come a long way over the past two years since i picked it back up again
God what a shit crowd maybe it’s just because I’m looking at it after they have established their legacy but I can’t image sitting down during ANY descendants show especially one during their prime years. I was lucky enough to see them at punk in drublic 2018 and witnessed all different generations of punks from teens to 50 year olds moshing and going nuts the entire show. They even brought out jello Biafra to perform police trucks. One of the best moments I’ve ever witnessed 👌👌
Bill Stevenson OWNS!
Sane By A Thread From Black Flag right? Probably a stupid question, just wanna make sure...
dyslexiaman15 he was in black flag for a short time but he formed the descendents
@@the_deep_bassist2747 best punk drummer ever
FUCK YEAH HE DOES!
That is some tight drumming.
Ummm it Bill Stephenson from Black Flag/Descendents/All he’s a legend
the fact that they played it this faster than the original is crazy
no for real dog, i didnt think that was possible
The speed they played it in the original lineup is severely limited by the use of only downstrokes by both Tony Lombardo and Frank Navetta.
It's pretty similar to be honest
Shredding bass licks, pounding drums, melodic guitar, harmonic vocals; if you weren't there, you don't know how special this band was.
Agreed!! ♥️
Those snare rolls between the beat are insane.
Bass and drums are really just amazing. Drumming especially at 0:51 is nuts.
It's insane how much they sound just like the record!
That bass is just amazing
Seeing them in a couple days, childhood dream come true
How was it
p0lish beer They were really good, I thought they were going to be old or rusty but they put on an amazing show
probably the greatest song ever

Jeez I can drum, but not as fast as Bill, hes a fucking legend!!!
Greatest Punk Rock rhythm section
Absolutely love the Bowie pic btw!
Robello and Black are amazing and headon and simonon would have a seat at the table
Jesus Christ, Bill, that fill bout halfway through is killer!
That s*** was incredible. And to think it was done when I was just a little kid.
I watched them perform in WPB FL 1985 at Respectables with another band called the Red Hot Chilli Peppers before they were big...
You are so lucky. (Not about the Red Hot Chili Peppers)
@@elipsage2194 dude chili peppers rock
i dunno about that
@@elipsage2194 certainly did back in the day, but they are long gone now
Not enough videos of this lineup.
Why is this audio so good😂
Bill Stevenson is a God
That drumming is insane
