I like my Buck 110 auto. They built the auto like the knife, sturdy & reliable. It made me re-appreciate the old Buck 110 I carried. Mines the 420hc & I have no complaints about the sharpness. It was wickedly sharp out of the box, & I've only stopped it. I figure if you're going for the auto, you might as well spend a little more and get the premium steel, if you feel like it.

It was your video on the 110 auto that spurred me forward into buying this one. I'll most likely end up picking up another, at some point. I agree with you that it's an amazing auto. You can really feel the quality of the build in your hand when you fire it! I have absolutely no regrets, and can't recommend it enough.

Mine is perfectly centered. I own 7 automatic knives ; this is by far the slowest one I have. I had to thoroughly clean & lube it right out of the box. That being said I still love it !
The 110 is an American classic. The auto elite is the turbo version of the iconic knife. Get one if it’s legal in your area !

Are the other six knives out the front or out the side?

cool vid man; however your should put your thumb disc at the edge of the blade and thumb choiol not before it. Bucks have this line before the blade where you can place a thumb stud where it ends is the correct spot for the thumb disc.

      Interesting. I’ll check it out.

My grail knife. Just haven't been able to part with the $260 bucks, no pun intended, as of yet.

Buck will replace the entire blade for $10 if you fuck it up. It’s not warranty, but it’s hella cheap

I recently got one of these as a gift from my uncle and I am 95% blown away with it. Everything you state, from blade sharpness, handle, outstanding build quality make this one of the greatest iterations of the 110. However, although the lockup is solid, do you notice side to side blade play with yours? I am curious if it is intentional to reduce drag/friction on the blade while deploying?

    • @TheMartialist
      @TheMartialist  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

I don’t think mine had any, but I check for play the way case does. Hold the blade near the joint and wag it side to side. If you feel it rock back and forth, that’s play. Many blades have flex that isn’t play. Maybe that makes no sense, idk

@@TheMartialistthat makes complete sense. I have a couple case knives, as well as a custom shop 110 with bone and brass (also from my uncle, great guy) and they all lock up solid on the side to side as you mentioned. This sounds like another one of Buck’s knives slipping past QC. I have a Micarta slim pro 110 I need to send back for the same issue. My concern is shipping the knife to Buck with federal law; I am in Texas, but not sure how that works. Also the turnaround time. Do you think your C-Clamp method would work without damaging the spring mechanism? What did you use as a spacer with the clamp to not damage the bolster.
      Love the knife, but frustrating.

I love my original but its already illegal to carry out side of the house so this one is like super illegal here. But nice to see others enjoy it, cool knife.

I like it because it doesn’t look all tactout I’d get the 420HC version just because of the wood scales. Knives are sacred things to me I love it if they look nicer than my pistol.

I'm new to your channel, I really like your videos. I just bought a Buck 110 auto and I wanted to ask you, is it normal that once the blade is opened it has a bit of play (bladeplay)? I watch your videos from Mexico (an apology if I made a mistake and wrote something incorrectly) Greetings.

That's a nice knife for your collection, but illegal to carry in almost every state and a federal offense. If you get caught carrying it your going to prison and you' ll never be allowed to carry a knife again...

What a bunch of horse shit. This is a STATE ISSUE. And for your information, more states than not have repealed the stupid knife restrictions. Stop spreading disinformation due to your own bias.

I really love this knife. I have 112 s30v. I dont care about the size of 110. But what makes me never carry my 112 is the weight. I have many famous branded knifes bigger than 110 but i carry it a lot daily because they are a lot lighter as a pocket knife supposed to be i guess 😊 but everytime i see my buck knife..i still love it and will never sell it. 😊

You got the 112 (inferior knife) instead of the 110 so it could fit your small soy infested sissy fingers better and still the 5-6 ounce pocket knife (less than half a pound) was too much for you to handle
Maybe you should edc a stick
