Fantastic review of an amazing car. Im always blown away by how good your content is. You seem to be able to get the engine / exhaust noise perfect, you even made the McLaren 12C sound good! Keep up the good work 👍
Thanks! To us, sound is super important for cars like this, so we do our best to convey that. This is the last of the cool car reviews for the time being, so we hope you enjoy our back catalog!
@ryan The Singer I drove was $375k at the time. Counterpoint to boofighter's point about $500k, however, anything from Singer is closer to a mil these days. I clearly stated at the top of this video that a Guntherwerks commission starts at over $500k.
What a beast im completely blown away 😍 that attention to detail and upgraded looks from gunterwerks made this car a very unique design in my opinion they made better cars than singer
This car is to me the ultimate dream car. For those whom have never sat in and driven an air cooled 993, you need to do it. It will change your religious beliefs...its that good. And Guntherwerks have taken the 993 car to another level. Well done.
Two very different driving experiences, Patrick. Plus, if you can afford either, you can afford both. That’s kinda like asking which one is your favourite child!
Brian Makse As a guy who drives my car on tracks, it seems like the Gunther is the better fit for that. Not sure. There is also the Ruf SCR which is an amazing NA carbon fiber retro Porsche lookalike.
I think I mentioned it, 2600 lbs. They say it's light, but ripping up and down PCH didn't give me a complete feel for the car. It felt heavier than 2600 during my short drive.
Allen Saunders Never, I can buy GT2RS and GT3RS and have $$$$ left for great vacation ! Cars build by the best company in the world, not garage fabricated car.
The upshift growl is unreal - motor is a work of art
Agreed. Love it.
7:51 is the reason you want this car. Thanks Brian
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed. So much fun.
Awesome, stunning work from Guntherweks
Glad you enjoyed it
Love, love, love Peter's builds. Bravo!
Indeed.
Thank you for the great review. Exhaust note anger is a complete mismatch for the amazing looks which is always a huge plus for me
Couldn't agree more!
Saw their booth at Rennsport in 2018. Really cool company
Excellent video! The last seconds of sound with the downshifting were music to my ears.
We're here to serve, serve up the air cooled goodness.
The gold wheels look great with the green. 😍
I think so too!
Damn that’s so bad ass

Awesome engine sound
It sure is!
Best review ever seen on youtube
Most definitely not! Glad you enjoyed it, though.
Brian Makse man it’s my dream car ... colors inside and out are soooooo good
Wow that is sick
Interesting how Singer opened up the market for a “budget “ $500k 911.
The one I drove was $375k.
$375? Can you clarify, Brian? Gunther’s website lists $525 + doner car + other misc components...
Brian Makse a bargain!

Thx for clarifying!
sounds so good

I don't think there's a need to compare Guntherwerks to anything else. Their work is indeed unique and stands on its own merits.
Yeah of course💜👌🏼 keep it up 👍
Impressive!
Glad you enjoyed!
What an absolute 💎 👌👌

It's a pretty interesting machine.
So Brian. If you could have either one, would you take a Guntherwerks or a Singer? And why? For me, I kind of like the Guntherwerks more.
Two very different driving experiences, Patrick. Plus, if you can afford either, you can afford both. That’s kinda like asking which one is your favourite child!
@@BrianMakse All parents have a favorite child--they just don't tell, lol. Hope all is well Brian.
Better than the original
My favorite part of the video is where he says: "Please don't hit me!"
I say that at least once a day when I drive in Huntington Beach.
What colour is this car? None of the articles I’ve read give the official name.
IIRC it's the same as the name of the commission: Greenwich.
This car’s made its way to where it lives about 10 minutes from my house
It should be coming by some time soon. It has a ten minute turning radius, so you’re right in the zone!
@ lol, the owner’s brought it to cars and coffee a few times, it’s such a beautiful car
A piece of art 😘
They do amazing work.
@@BrianMakse are they planning to do other models ?
Actually 430hp. Love the car. Some better driving roads would be nice
Our merch store thanks your for your support.
sick
I wonder how these stack up to Singers cars
Hmm. Did you watch my Singer review?
Brian Makse so would you choose a Singer or Gunther?
After seeing both episodes, what do you think?
Brian Makse As a guy who drives my car on tracks, it seems like the Gunther is the better fit for that. Not sure. There is also the Ruf SCR which is an amazing NA carbon fiber retro Porsche lookalike.
Everyone will do a track-spec car, but as Rob Dickinson told me years ago, it's easy to ruin a good road car by trying to make it work on the track.
Do you happen to know the power to weight ratio?
Nah. Lots of power x lightweighting = awesome. Specs are on their site, I’m sure.
It's a beauty, would like to take a drive, is it water cooled or still air at 4.0 litr??
Pretty sure I covered that more than once.
All 25 is already sold?
Stupid question, off course they are
Make more pls, or maybe do your thing on the 1980, 930
They said that motor alone is 200 250 k
Its has to run good at sea leavel.
It sure does!
This Porsche 911look like frog 🐸 beautiful 👍should be call 911 Gunther Werks 400r Frog.(The Frog) 911 Frog
Green and blue dollar seal
The brakes are like the Senna McLaren that takes months to cure and make
I heard they’re grown from spores found on Mars.
"nothing like an aircooled engine" LOL
How is that funny?
@@BrianMakse they break and cost too much to repair
Huntington Beach ?
Sure thing, Sherlock Holmes!
How much it weighs?
I think I mentioned it, 2600 lbs. They say it's light, but ripping up and down PCH didn't give me a complete feel for the car. It felt heavier than 2600 during my short drive.
Brian Makse i watch it about 4 times my english hearing need to improve lol ... thank you :-)
Hello
This for sale ?!
Please contact Guntherwerks directly.
@@BrianMakse ok .. thanks pro
The front fenders look horrible.
How much for one?
Eight.
Need a 911 duck in my life
Don't we all.
Brian Makse I think so
Rogan has bought one...
Interesting.
Fantastic looks and sounds. 500k is stupid.
Why?
@@BrianMakse what planet do you live on to ask that question. Seriously?
It's a fair question.
half a mil for something that is < than a 918? hmmmm Idk
It’s not an either/or question for buyers.
Not your bitch
it is a toad
🤦🏼♂️😵💯❤️❤️❤️❤️💯😍
You pay all the money only to be crushed by a 200k 2020 Turbo ......
It’s not an either/or consideration for owners.
Growl baby growl...
500K ? Hahahahahahahah
Oh well no order from you then
Allen Saunders Never, I can buy GT2RS and GT3RS and have $$$$ left for great vacation ! Cars build by the best company in the world, not garage fabricated car.
500k usd thumbs down
Cool, great finishing and attention to detail but I'd never spend anything close to that on a car, unless I was a billionaire perhaps.
