No literally, I've been cooking rice since I was 7 and watching him pour the water back in was like watching a bulldozer crush my house

I learned how to cook rice when I was 9
I was cringing in pain when I saw this, never cringed this hard since the time I was reminded of the cringy things I did back in my childhood.

When Mysta was washing the rice and Vox went furious just like Uncle Roger (Nigel Ng), I literally rolled off the bed laughing out loud 🤣 but really, when you wash the rice, you should've let the rinsed water out instead of using it again and as my family and I used rice cookers. I'm amazed at how Mysta said cooking rice like everybody with microwave, cuz what I know is only rice cookers or rice warmers 😁

Cooking the rice↓
Wash the rice twice, leave no white space
Discard the rice water or water the flowers
Re-added water
proportion rice:water = 1:1
wait 30 minutes
add a little vegetable oil
put in electric cooker，About 45-60 minutes
After cooking, leave it uncovered for 10 minutes
A pot of delicious rice is ready
1:1 works, but honestly I find better results puttin water til its about 1.5cm above the top of the rice. Cover, bring to boil, reduce to low for 7 minutes. remove from heat and leave covered another 15 minutes
@@foxpurrincess3209 this is closer to what i do. About an inch of water above rice. But i don’t really time it. I just let it boil until water is nearly at rice level, stir it around to keep it from sticking to pan, and cover it again. Like pancakes, i wait for bubbles between rice. Once bubbles are nearly gone, i turn it off and let it be for like 10 mins or until main dish is ready.

I really relate to Mysta here trying to learn how to cook. I’m also at that stage even though I’m a decent way into adulthood and it’s a bit of an uphill climb. My mother doesn’t really teach me and just tends to get frustrated and take over everything. Here’s to Mysta’s continuous steady improvement.
You can learn how to cook by watching TH-cam videos. Thats how I learned. You can type in pasta recipes or easy recipes etc and you will learn alot. Once you get the hang of it you can try harder dishes. I cook for my entire family now lmao.
