Nature can be so cruel, making something so deadly so adorable! I just wish I could snuggle these giant kitties (without getting mauled). I love all the videos! Please keep them coming!
I feel your pain! Watching this, I just wanted to rub his belly and smother him with kisses like I do with my own cats! The difference being that if I did that to this big fella, I wouldn't live to tell the tale 😂
I think he was making an "hello" noise to me then the urge to yawn took over :) Flavio's a very chilled cat I've only ever heard him growl a little when I took to long to put his food on the feeding tray, he's always chuffing!
Hi, you guessed right! Here it goes.... Flavio, Bengali, Flavio, Bengali, Simba, Nikita, MINE = Sarmoti, then the 'chuffs" are Modnic, Cookie, Nala & Snorkel, finished off by more clips of Flav and Ben! :)
Magnificent animals there! I am an ardent follower of Big Cat Rescue and would love to visit your park when I get a chance to come to America and would be glad to make a donation. "I am so hungry" is where it gets truly blood curdling.
I was just reminded of this comment by another video from this channel, "Meet Our Tiger Residents". One of the many onscreen tiger facts throughout the video is that they only kill their prey about once out of every 10 or 20 attempts. Only kill. After trying and failing about twenty times. Wow, you're right, they ARE the stand-up comics of the jungle!
I love the last one. Not only does he sound like a sleepy goof, but there was also a hint of desperation in the noise. That last sentence is so true. And that's why I am going to help save the tigers and other exotic cats.
Thanks, that's why i did include it, obviously we don't have much footage of the cats being aggressive, we don't film then when they are being grumpy. It's easy for people to think these cats are cute and playful instead of dangerous predators :)
THANK YOU for caring about the animals. Sadly, facilities that let people roam around on their own don't seem to provide enough staff to make sure things like that does not happen. At Big Cat Rescue to prevent things like that we offer guided tours only. There are tour guides in front and back of the tours to answer questions, ensure safety, and to prevent the cats from being taunted.
One of God's most beautiful animals. Everthing should be done to help and preserve these wonderful cats. Thank God for organizations like big cat rescue. Keep up the great work !
It's another way of marking their territory, they rub their scent on things like this they have scent glands in their cheeks, plus they just like a little scratch around the ears at the same time! :)
We used to have a lioness with 14 of the DNA markers of a Barbary lion. She recently passed away. You can read her bio on our main website BigCatRescue. org under the navigation menu item, "Photos and Facts"-->"Meet the Big Cats" and scroll all the way to the bottom and click on the link of past cats. in that list look for a lioness named Sarabi. Under the navigation menu item "Photos and Facts" you can look up Barbary Lions and read all about them.
@BigCatRescue I just wanna say its nice to see how patiently you respond to obvious ignorant provocation, you could curse them out and call them ignorant so and sos (like i'd enjoy doing) but instead your as patient as a momma tiger getting her ear chewed by cubs, it just shows who the better person is. Rock on!
@SeanSmileyUR Hi, sorry for the late reply, some comments just don't show up on our radar for some reason? Many of BCR's staff do not have zoology/biology degrees, myself included, we were all hardworking volunteers, who received training on-site etc... experience is sometimes more valuable than qualifications. Good luck!
Here it is pretty much each cat has their own personality, likes and dilikes. Some like to be alone, some like other cats around. Some are more playful, some are more laid back. Just depends on each cat.
@FruittisMaris Keep up the good work with the cats! Our cats get fed around 5pm each day except sunday which is their fasting day, so yep they're on a schedule, they know when it's dinner time that's for sure! More videos on the way :)
awww so gorgeous :) I'm planing to study tigers and help bring up their population once I have finished university. So I'll make my first stop at your rescue centre
That was adorable! Gotta agree with eltoroda and agree that tigers are one of God's most beautiful creations along with any other part of nature. So cute!!! I love this little captions, it actually looks like they want to say that.
Will do! I should refresh my memory on several things, including how to spot a genuine sanctuary. I want to find out if the ones in my province are reputable or not. Anything for conservation!
Get too close to their food and they roar and growl. When I was on a tour at BCR I heard one of the male lions roaring in the distance, it was an awesome sound!
Yep, we will definitely be doing the podcast about the rescue of Narla pretty soon, then we may do a spotlight on Cameron and Zabu in the future, keep watching!
Yep, mostly all friendly "hey how are you?" noises but don't let this fool you they are extremely dangerous animals and can easily change their attitude!
Tigers are way more vocal than i thought they were
I see, Chewbacca's voice actor was a tiger :P
ha ha ha
The dialogue for Chewie come from
1) Lion
2) Tiger
3) Bear
4) Camel
5) Walrus
Nature can be so cruel, making something so deadly so adorable! I just wish I could snuggle these giant kitties (without getting mauled).
I love all the videos! Please keep them coming!
Aaron Blum Indeed... Nature is deceptive
Aaron Blum I know! My first reaction when I see a Big Cat, is not, ‘oh no. I’m glad I’m nowhere near it.’, it’s, ‘awww! I wish I could snuggle you!’
Aaron Blum you said it xactly! 🐯
Just love them! It’s in their eyes!
I feel your pain! Watching this, I just wanted to rub his belly and smother him with kisses like I do with my own cats! The difference being that if I did that to this big fella, I wouldn't live to tell the tale 😂
Lol, my "don't wanna get up" sounds disturbingly similar to theirs...
Well, they ARE just big cats. And cats make some of the funniest noises! This is adorable! From a distance....
Hahaha
... I just realized that tigers and wookies make similar noises...
+Jessi LaChat I never even thought about it but damn they really DO sound like Chewbacca xD
*wookiees
tigers moo?
Tiger moaning is a social vocalization. Some of the tiger moans sound like a cow mooing.
Big Cat Rescue I thought it was the tiger equivalent of meowing rather than a moo. lol
You see the thing is- ...ugh...yeah.
I think he was making an "hello" noise to me then the urge to yawn took over :) Flavio's a very chilled cat I've only ever heard him growl a little when I took to long to put his food on the feeding tray, he's always chuffing!
It's nice to see them every morning and chuff to them and they do it back, good way to start the day!
He sniffed his meat, and let out a roar because he wanted Frosted Flakes.
HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
Funny but he is like NO IT MINE NOT YOUR
Because they're ggggrrrrrrrreat.
You are very welcome. Thank you for chatting with us.
Eva Williams:"Flavio, Bengali, Simba, Nikita, Sarmoti, Modnic, Cookie, Nala & Snorkel, Flav, and Ben? This is great! They are MASTER of the talking!"
I wish I could pet them. They're so beautiful and cute. I'd rather not get mauled to death though lol.
love love loooove when they moo and chuff and just i love it!!!
Love the chuffing sound
wow me and the tiger have a lot in common when it comes to talking. lol
Cheshire Cat samee
Thanks BCR!! You do such great work for all the big cats you rescue!!! Just wish we were in FL more often to see them. My girls loved the talking!!!
Magnificent animals there! I am an ardent follower of Big Cat Rescue and would love to visit your park when I get a chance to come to America and would be glad to make a donation. "I am so hungry" is where it gets truly blood curdling.

all cats are interesting, beautiful, cute, etc. but tigers are the comedians.
TruNordics14 I agree with you 100%!!!!

More like 5 more hours, these cats are grrreat at sleeping!
Thanks for watching, please vote for us and pass along to friends who want to save the tiger as well :)
I think the Star Wars sound engineers might have used tiger vocalizations for Chewbacca's. They sure sound the same.
Buzzby1949 They actually used a bear.
They used a fusion of camel, walrus, deer and sick animal noises
Thanks, that's why i did include it, obviously we don't have much footage of the cats being aggressive, we don't film then when they are being grumpy. It's easy for people to think these cats are cute and playful instead of dangerous predators :)
Totally just made my day a thousand times better getting this video recommended in my news feed!!!
Best cow impression

Often times keepers will sit in a lawn chair and just watch the cats.
One of God's most beautiful animals. Everthing should be done to help and preserve these wonderful cats. Thank God for organizations like big cat rescue. Keep up the great work !
Beautiful creatures. Love the diff noises.
Sounds like me before coffee. Nnnnrrrrrgggghhhh
i like the way he talks..
It's another way of marking their territory, they rub their scent on things like this they have scent glands in their cheeks, plus they just like a little scratch around the ears at the same time! :)
That is so funny! I'm going to post it on my FB page right away! You are the happiest people on Earth! I love cats big&small! :))))

Gorgeous tigers!!! I love how they talk!!! Thank you for all that you do for the kitties, big and small...
I love when a meow turns into a yawn ❤
Most of Chewbacca's sounds are actually the sounds of big cats.
THANK YOU!
@BigCatRescue I just wanna say its nice to see how patiently you respond to obvious ignorant provocation, you could curse them out and call them ignorant so and sos (like i'd enjoy doing) but instead your as patient as a momma tiger getting her ear chewed by cubs, it just shows who the better person is. tigers are some of the most beautiful animals. what you guys do there is great!
that roar though we know that tigers have a much more badass roar
@CandyandCowgirls Definitely they sleep 18-20 hours a day!
The seriously tiger was Simba (joseph's pride) and you're correct that was Sarmoti protecting his dinner :)
That would probably be Flavio the tiger right at the beginning of the video, he's our oldest tiger also :)
Eva Williams:"I love Flavio! I'm sad that he passed."
I just Love this funny talks of the tigers....Nice Video !!!!!!
Thank you for watching!
It was many different tigers, Flavio, Bengali, Simba, Modnic, Nikita, Nala, they are all pretty talkative.

Glad you enjoyed it :)

@MrEvol94 Good question! It's probably close to 100 pounds!
@FruittisMaris Keep up the good work with the cats! Our cats get fed around 5pm each day except sunday which is their fasting day, so yep they're on a schedule, they know when it's dinner time that's for sure! More videos on the way :)

Very cute video. I love tigers, because they're beautiful & strong.
Thank you for watching!
I love 🐅. I can't wait to hug one or wrestle with it when I go to heaven.
We may do, International tiger day 2010 is september 26th, so we may do something nearer this date :)
The BigCats have my vote!
Thank you for all you do for the cats!
Favorite call is "MINE!" ... tiger rumble growl & roar always gives me a chill.
Your tigers do a pretty good cow impression! Mooo!!!!!
Thanks for watching!

@ApacheMan2K Yep, definitely! The booming calls are the strangest, never caught it on film....yet :)
SO CUTE I LOVE TIGERS THEIR MY FAVORITE ANIMAL and i will help save the tigers!
*they're
Will do! I should refresh my memory on several things, including how to spot a genuine sanctuary. I want to find out if the ones in my province are reputable or not. Anything for conservation!
I think I'm abusing the replay button. Can't... stop... watching! I must have more tiger!
that's an accurate description of my day
my cat Jake acts just like that. he's very talkative and makes weird noises and stuff. hehe Tigers FTW!
They sound like they are mooing like cows. hehe Its so cute how it rubs its face on the fence like a domesticated cat.
I know, I love that sound too!
They are very very special
Awwwww I love tigers specially the cubs they are so adorable
So adorable anyway you say it.
It can mean that. It can also be a greeting.
@barnaby2011able No, of all the big cat species, the lion, tiger, leopard and jaguar are the only species that do not purr, all other species do :)
very cute on the vocalizations... Save The Tigers!!
Get too close to their food and they roar and growl. When I was on a tour at BCR I heard one of the male lions roaring in the distance, it was an awesome sound!
Great job!
Exactly :)
what an a amazing cat
I just died in a well of love!!!😍😻😻
Beautiful...
The yawn at 0:18 is what I remember best from this vid. It's cemented in my mind forever. :)
Yep, we will definitely be doing the podcast about the rescue of Narla pretty soon, then we may do a spotlight on Cameron and Zabu in the future, keep watching!
I think my favorite noises out of all is the Big Cat's chuffing and the Sand Cat's hiss/spit. Idk. So cute haha.
This video explains me in the morings
Flavio is more talkative i love him !
Yep, mostly all friendly "hey how are you?" noises but don't let this fool you they are extremely dangerous animals and can easily change their attitude!
If the cats that share enclosures hint at not getting along they are separated before a fight takes place.
Lions don't really make any noises apart from their roar, which is just a lot longer than what the tiger may do.
Your guy's cats all seem so happy! xD I love your video's, and I love your big cats(I also more love the fact that your helping them).
