@@johnwoolcock9980 It depends on the product. I don't know much about cigarettes, but I guess they are sometimes sold 10-12 packs in a package. So "I've smoked a package of cigarettes" would sound a little raspier than "I've smoked a pack of cigarettes" 😅😅😅😅

A carton of XYZ. On another topic. Collective nouns. Pride of Lions, a parliment of owls, a school of fish, are such specific nouns in the Ukrainian language?
@johnwoolcock9980 Yes, there are. Maybe one day I will make a separate video about it. But you can use the word "зграя": "зграя тварин", "зграя птахів", "вовча зграя". It's a different word for insects though. For example, "рій бджіл".
@@nurseSean "корзина грбів/корзина з грибами"/ "корзина фруктів/корзина з фруктами". You can use both, both are correct. But "корзина з фруктами" would mean "a basket containing fruit", while "корзина фруктів" means "a basket full of fruit". So, when you use "з" it doesn't always mean that the basket is full.
Excellent video! Thank you!❤
Дякую, це було дуже корисно. Мені подобається дивитися на об'єкти, слухаючи слова.
Hvala za video! Pozdrav iz Hrvatske!

words like packet and pack, are these interchangeable? A pack of cigarettes, a packet of cigarettes? and no lecture on the dangers of smoking :))

I love the word shmatok, it is so onomatopoeic, you can feel your mouth watering when you hear it😂

Це добре. Тільки українська. прості фрази.
Why do you use «з» with a basket of fruit but not mushrooms?
