Really enjoyed building the Monogram '55 Ford and turning it into a Rat Wrecker for the USACC GB (United Scale Automotive Content Creators Group Build).
Hey Tim. Bruce in Wv here. Question. Is any one showing a showcase video or anything of the sort on these 55 builds you all done. I would love to see a showcase of them.( if there’s not to many of them. lol). Thanks man. Appreciate it.
I really like how this truck turned out, darn close to perfect, IMO.
My experience with weathering has been HO-scale railcars, and I've enjoyed it immensely. I use paints and chalks and the flat fixing spray. Thanks to this video, I'm ready to try weathering a 1937 pickup.👍
BTW, maybe it's because they're not covered with fenders, but those rear tires caught my eye. Do you recall where they came from? Thanks!
@@user-xe3gx2ep4r Not that I know of.
@@bobyoung1698 Thank you so much for the kind words. Weathering is fun and I think you will really enjoy it!!!!! The tires and wheels (and rear end) came out of the Monogram Roadrunner kit. Enjoy your '37 build and if you have any questions along the way feel free to ask. I'll try to answer the best I can.
It turned out great tim..that save you had with the electrical box is really thinking outside the box. Great job tim!!!!

Thank you KC, so glad you liked the build and the tool box! 🙂 👍 🤜🤛 😉
Maybe use your wrecker to go pickup the projects that didn’t make the deadline! Your builds always look quite realistic! I just can’t bring myself to bust through the shine and do a weathered project, see enough rust here in the north east Ohio area! However I enjoy watching y’all Bill Borgen types that have mastered this technique! All you need now is the gas and oil smell! You are one talented builder Tim ! Very cool build! 🏆🫠🤔🫡🇺🇸
Thank you so much for the kind words Kevin!! Yes, you definitely have the rust in the Ohio area. So glad you liked the build and now I'm off to pick up all the projects that didn't make it..... 😉 👍 🙂 🤜🤛 😏
I model Trains .... But this is SICK!!! .... Subscribed!!! 😁👍
Awesome! Thank you! 🙂👍
Amazing job, Tim!! That is too cool!! Ohhh, you should have added a old school beacon yellow light on the roof! 😉 but that turned out absolutely amazing, Tim!! I think so far me and you are the only ones that did a beater that did a beater work truck!!
Thank you Dylan, so glad you liked it!! 🙂 You read my mind, actually I wanted to put that on the roof but I didn't have one. 🤜🤛 Stay warm and keep up the great builds!! ❄ 😉 ☃
Excellent looking build Tim really like how the weathering turned out ad nice fix with the crank handle electric box is much better looking and those little cardboard boxes just ad that little more flair to the over all build well done buddy 👍🏆

That is an awesome weathering technique. It came out awesome. I did this model about a year and a half ago and I took it to the NNL East, where we met in Jersey last year. And thank you for your thoughts and prayers
Thank you Matt, yes I remember and hope to be there again this year. If you need anything just let me know.
Awesome build Tim. Love the weathering that you did. Very realistic. I myself have weathered a few old built ups that couldn't be restored. Your detail work is excellent. Your right you can do many things to a weathered vehicle. There is no right or wrong. Maybe you'll have this one at the NNL East in April. Hopefully you will show us another one of your builds soon. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy your week.
Great build up brother Tim.
