Kent.. another great review. I have been quietly watching you for years. You give the most honest reviews. You are an asset to the candle community I am so glad you came back. It appears you have noticed an overall decline in BBW. I have had terrible luck with their products lately and am unfortunately almost done. I am in the process of searching out a new candle company to purchase from. I am just super disappointed lately. Couple this disappointment with price increases and reduced coupons ... uggh. I smelled this one in the store and have loved the fragrance in the past but felt like it was just another fragrance free dud, to be quite honest. Actually when I think about it I feel like BBW may be going down the same path as Yankee. They are going to lose alot of us unless something changes. I clearly see reduced quality from them. They are not the same company they were years ago. They need to turn this around. Customers begged Yankee to do the same with virtually no affect.
One of the best scents for a reason! Love it on a cool summer evening as much as I do during the chilly fall. Thanks for shining the spotlight on this one! Let's hope the throw gets better the next round! 👍💕

I totally agree with you on this one Kent! It is such a great scent but the throw could be so much better. So frustrating to have such a fantastic scent but low throw. Uuggh. I have found the same to be true with Vanilla Birch, which I love. I haven't tried Marshmallow Fireside in a wallflower. I assume they make it in the wallflower. I would be curious to know if the throw is better in that form. I have have found that for Vanilla Birch the spray and wallflower are great.
It takes me forever to burn candles down, so I still have two marshmallow fireside‘s from 2016. I’m glad that I still have them, considering the throw and strength of the new versions aren’t that great.
I appreciate you, Kent! I’ve tried to like this candle,,but it’s been a miss the past few years. I LOVE marshmallow scents, too, so I’m open to anyone with a suggestion for a great smoky marshmallow scent!
People used to rave about this and so I picked up 2 but on cold I could smell nothing. Per experience when there's no scent on cold it's not going to be strong. However I waited if you would post a review before I burned. Glad I didn't 😄😄. Thanks again Kent for your review
Fireside is too cologney for me but the addition of the marshmallow makes for a wonderful candle. Love hearing your review. I hope the next version goes back to its earlier strength!
Love this scent...a must have for fall and winter. Actually a dreary cold rainy summer day here so I'm going to burn this one in my room. My living area has Homeworx Spun Vanilla Sugar going so a good mix.
I just went in the store and really liked the scent but I’m glad I didn’t get it. I have an open concept living room, kitchen and dining room so I struggle to get candles with good throw. So while this one seems good, I won’t be able to smell it. That’s a shame! Thanks for the review!
So great to have you back, reviewing candles and talking home fragrance, where you belong! I also love the candle tray that you feature in all of your videos. The circular design near the center makes it perfect for BBW candles in an "X marks the spot" kind of way. Where'd you get the tray?

I love this candle...i pulled one of mine out of the archives today and lit it...😂 I do not like fireside because it smells like an old ashtray to me however my favorite is pumpkin bonfire!

Nobody wants a candle that’s overwhelming and causes headaches that’s a terrible problem I think everyone is complaining about the throw of B&BWS candles but no one is considering how toxic it is when it’s extremely strong a candle should never cause a headache so I think we should stop complaining about the throw and appreciate the fact that it’s not causing health issues I appreciate a gentle candle that has a gentle throw if need be purchase 2 of the same fragrance and place them in different rooms
I wish the etching or sticker would have been snowy mountains 🏔 🏔💖 at first, with the name, I thought it was😀but realize It looks like maple leaves 🍁 I’m guessing but pretty review!

Great scent. It’s really disappointing that it has such a weak throw. Every year I purchase one in hopes that the throw would improve.

This is a staple for me and I burn one every winter. Just like Rosewater and Ivy for Spring and PPW for Fall...this is Winter for me. Classic!
