I think it actually looks pretty good! Brightens up the tank quite a bit and let's you see more of the shrimp during feeding. Maybe lower the sand a tad and add some accent pebbles at the substrate junction, if you were looking to make more dramatic. Great work either way. I enjoy your builds and honesty
My 1st thought is that aquascape is perfect for an aquarium twice that size . I know that doesn't really matter since you are doing a re-scape but it will be something that I might try to recreate and have the sides and front covered in sand . Keep the awesome videos coming and we'll be watching. Please remember to ALWAYS like the videos , that is the easiest thing to do,....for all the work that goes in the creating process
I like the new look. Much brighter and you'll be able to see the shrimp more. But yes, a tank post-trim isn't the prettiest. It will grow in wonderfully. Take care.
I didn’t think it could look better, but it does that spider wood sits in the top third, beautiful as always. I won’t lie, the old scape was cool but in a different way. Once again, I love the new design. Keep up the good work!
Tryed to have a similar setup...unfortunately in Brazil it is almost impossible to do it and not become a mosquito breeder...had to put fish in the tank to prevent it from happening, since we`re experiencing a massive dengue (tropical disease transmitted by mosquitoes) epidemy.
Before & after looks great. thinking adding shrimp but i’m worried about them jumping out of the tank… noticed you dont have lid & water level is up… what shrimp can i try that wont jump out? Thanks
@bella2402 • The only reason why they do I think the water is not ideal or something else isn't right. Perfect condition for Neo's is just know what you are doing and keep it that way, stick to your own schedule and NEVER SPRAY ANYTHING IN THE AREA . AIR FRESHENER ,❌ CLEANING PRODUCTS.❌ PERFUME ,.❌ COLOGNE❌ AND ANYTHING ELSE YOU CAN SPRAY❌ WILL SADLY BE VERY TOXIC TO ALL SHRIMPS 🚫
I think you'll enjoy it once it's grown back in. You'll be able to see the shrimp much more. I have a tank with the same set up. Be ready to constantly be moving stray bits of aquasoil off the sand. 😂
Amazing tank, I'm getting a slightly bigger one but want to aim for the same with just light and plants, is it ok to keep nano fish in also? Or do they need surface agitation?
Post scape clarity is real for sure... what about mid-re-scape regret? 😅.. tonight I decided I would rescape my tank and Im about 30% done and questioning my decision
I enjoy the look. The way the rock pokes out onto the beach with the plants already grown around it, along with the stick looking like a tree, really makes it look more authentic!
It looked cool before but you couldn't really see any of the shrimp so it did need a little work. It'll fill in nicely, maybe you can add some hardscape accents or epiphytes in the front
The music, the shots of the shrimp, your kind face, this is a lovely video. So glad I subscribed.
Thank you so much!

Thank you and I appreciate it! I like the idea of small accent rocks in the front, sounds like a plan!
NOOOO!!!!! The happy little sand island is gone!
I think this will still look pretty good once it grows in.
Trim days are always tough!
Hahahah I was kind of sad about it too. Hoping it will grow back in time!
The videos you make are so dope. I'm glad you exist
Thank you for watching! I'm glad you exist as well.

I like that the shrimps have their own private beach now, looks way better than before.
Thank you! and the shrimp seem to love it indeed! I see them a lot more.
It turned out great! You'll see the shrimp more, too. Btw, I love that it's called "The Shrimp Generator" lol. Looking forward to more updates.
Thank you so much for watching! Super happy to be able to the shrimp during feeding again!

Such a peaceful video…and the shrimp seem quite happy. I always enjoy your videos!
I like the tank better now! Looks great! 😍
So pretty! That full frontal beach was definitely a good idea! Love the side view too :)
Good job, i think the tank will look really good again when the plants start growing in
Thanks for rescaping so I can finally steal the original design!
But no this one is more practical and will grow in beautifully
I think the plants needed a little bit of a trim in some areas. Don't give it a buzz cut, just pick and choose sections so it's not so overgrown.
Quite a drastic change but I think it looks great! Good job!
It's pretty nice. I'd trim the other plants too. It will all grow back.
Thank you! I think i will, not a bad idea.

It'll look better with time for sure! There is always aquasoil everywhere 🤣

Thank you! Surface agitation is always great to have!

Thank you! Definitely happy to see the shrimp grazing again for sure. Would love to add some super small anubias and buce variants in the front!
great content, as always
Thank you and thank you for watching!
Hard decision but turned out looking really good in the end.
Thank you!
