The cab is different on the tow truck then it is on the california hauler. Look at the corners of the doors and the dash. Cali hauler had sqaure doors, and a flat sqaure dash and little windows. The tow truck wrecker has round cornered doors and a different dash entirely. Just puttjng this here for those looking to learn about the kit itself.
Super cool old build. That looks like it’s really held up pretty well. I think that’s a really cool old kit still. I used to build models right there in my room too.definitely not an easy one for your first big rig. I still haven’t gotten into a true big rig kit myself yet. Thanks for sharing!
Nice looking truck build Eric! I like it! If not for the current price on that kit, I would like to get one. Building truck kits adds a little diversity with the builds.Thank You for sharing with Us.
Very nice Eric. That's so cool it's survived this long. Sorry, I'm not saying you're old or anything, but none of mine have survived intact. I stripped the ones that did. I think I should have just preserved them.

Great info, thanks! I hadn't had both kits side by side to compare. Had just assumed
Great job on the semi wrecker Eric. Love seeing past builds.😊
Thanks, David!
That was me who commented that i started on this Peterbilt wrecker kit 👋 The sleeper is not included in the newer releases. Cool old built Eric 👍😎
Yes, I couldn't recall at the time who the comment was from. Thanks for mentioning and thanks for watching!
That looks great. That is a fun kit mine no longer has a bomb it a flatbed hauler for a sand drag truck.
A cool truck. Came up pretty good considering first AMT truck. Just doing a few, they are fiddly models. Nice thanks for showing.

Thanks, Pat. I've still got most of my builds from that time frame. Most of them haven't aged too well, however
Looks awesome Eric!!
Thanks, Tom!
Thank you very much.
You're very welcome!
that's a neat old survivor.
Thanks, Red
You should totally buy a new kit, and build it the same way now, and display them both together~
@roaenokesyzlak7828 That's just not a bad idea. Maybe someday, if I get the ambition, I'll do that. Thanks for watching!
