Well, that was a true comment. Yes, Diana has big shoes to fill. And ofcourse there's always people gonna hate. Some just need to put down others to feel better themselves. 🤷🏻♂ And when you're already insecure being in front of an audience (more like a masiive crowd) for the first time stuff like that can hit hard. But glad to hear she realizes that and the band is supporting her. She has a great voice, and she'll get more confident over time. 👍🏻

Love the term "lightbulb moments".. Fabulous interview Anna and I am more interested in Diana and Delain for sure. Lovely interview. When I saw Delain back in April (first official show on their European tour), I found Diana to be a little bit timid and subdued. Watching this video I see how this fits her personality. She's a good singer though and I'm sure she felt more and more comfortable on stage as the tour progressed. Did you enjoy their live set? My favourite from this new Delain era is 'The Quest And The Curse'.
You have so much wisdom in you Martine. 🥰 I enjoyed experiencing them live and I think Diana still has a lot of potential to really conquer the stage! I'm curious to see how her stage presence keeps developing!

How much my mind still can’t call the new band ‘Delain’ I truly loved their performance! Great to see more Dutch bands highlighted 🥰 What a great calming and interesting interview btw! Great to get the insights behind Diana and her vocal journey. ❤
I could never understand such a radical mentality. It's still Delain, just with another singer and bassist. The main composers, Martijn and Guus, are still in the band, Ronald and Sander have already played in Delain before (moreover, they are both members of the original line-up when Delain turned from a project into a band after the release of the debut album). I don't see any reason to think that this is not a real Delain anymore.

Yes, Tuska is a metal festival. There are always some exceptions of course, but it’s mainly metal.

Very nice vocals and personality. After listening to her sing I would say that only power vocals may be a bit weak.
