Surviving 24 hours in the Most Dangerous Place in AUSTRALIA! (Outback)

  • I travel 12 hours into the middle of the Australian Outback with minimal resources and challenge myself to survive there for 24 hours. Throughout this time I film an emu attack my drone, find some crazy snakes, catch and cook freshwater crabs and camp next to a billabong.
Who wants to see me go back?
Check out some of my other videos!

    AWESOME
Thanks, Miller Wilson, for sharing this wonderful, professional quality, naturalist video documentary. And thanks to your mate who provides logistics and other support.
The mysterious, mildly ominous, didgeridoo music was excellent to set the mood for this topic of survival in the wild. You obviously put much thought into each video to make it a fascinating experience in itself.
Your superior, encyclopedic, detailed, concrete knowledge of the Australian outback fauna and flora, and explanations of their interactions with climate, weather and ecology, and huge almost photographic memory recall, combined with your evident, practical, survival skill set, is beyond scholarly and a valuable resource for others to learn from. No university produces Ph.D. graduates who make as large of a genuine contribution to the body of knowledge for world. Given your impressive portfolio and projected trajectory, someday you may be the recipient of a Honorary Doctoral Degree in Naturalist Field Science.
Your videos are on a higher level than National Geographic, because they are spontaneous, unscripted monologue and continuous interaction with everything observable from the tiniest insect or flower to the largest birds, snakes and other creatures found only in Australia.
Your improvised head-cover of a cloth scarf for sun protection is resourceful. Reportedly, the original natives sometimes wear a traditional head-cover made of several rabbit skins. It seems like a pith helmet would be more effective in protecting against sun stroke, although not collapsible and bulkier.
Your mention and filming of a flight of locusts brought to mind the survival skills of hermits who lived in the desert wilderness near the Dead Sea in the first centuries BC and AD, and who dressed in animal skins and lived off the land by eating locusts cooked a special way and wild honey.
Thanks again. Best wishes for your future endeavors.

@@MillerWilson I am an amateur who likes to independently research topics of interest to me and learn more about the world.
I did not have words to describe your most obvious inexplicable ability that informs everything you do -- a natural, psychic connection to all living entities, animals and plants -- which is like the psychic abilities of a shaman or natural energy healer.
Your evident modesty, humility and innocence on camera steer you away from self-aggrandizement, and your joy in finding new and different specimens to study is contagious. Your videos are a tonic. 🙂
      EDIT: Innocence as in guileless.
P.S. Your Patreon "Thank You" message leads me to expect something bigger than ever from you on the horizon.

As someone that’s deathly afraid of everything outside as in snakes, lizards, wild animals, etc…. I’m extremely jealous. Everyone makes fun of me too cause I grew up in the murder capital of the US and have no fear walking through my old neighborhood in the middle of the night but, won’t step foot in the woods if the suns settin. I have 2 children now (1yo & 2yo) and one of my dreams is to do something like this an face all of my fears about the wild. I have never even touched a real fish. It’s quite embarrassing. I didn’t have a real father growing up and have had this dream since my son was born 2 years ago to take them camping, fishing, hunting, etc…. I think it’s admirable. I’m also a realist and think being able to survive regardless of the circumstances is a skill everyone should have. I also have memories of moving to a neighboring state and seeing all of my friends going camping an hunting an shit with their families an was always jealous. I didn’t have someone to do that shit with me ya know? I don’t want my kids growing up and missing out on everything I did. These videos really help. Being up close an personal with all of the critters an shit makes me feel a bit more confident. Keep ‘em coming brother, you have no idea of the impact you’re making.

No disrespect to Steve Irwin’s son but I really think this guy is the closest person to filling “The crocodile hunter’s” shoes. I think Steve’s son is good, but to me (my personal opinion) his content isn’t like this guy. Not only does he connect to the animals he encounters, but to his viewers as well.

Steve talked to the camera (viewers) like we were all 5 years old. But then he wasn't marketing himself to Aussies, he was going after the bigger market in the U.S. and it seems they ate that shit up- being treated like 5 year olds.

Normal people: You must never go there.
Him: Looks like a good place for shelter.

I've been watching a few of this guys video's and I immediately got connected. Here in the states, Steve Irwin had shows that would always watch as a kid and i Was so fasenated with him for as long as i can remember. So, what I'm trying to say is I believe watching this guy on TH-cam brings me back to those vibes. He to me is the modern day Steve Irwin Lol

U got big. I remember watching u catching biggest fresh water eel titled vdo. After that this and few more vdos. Back in the day I thought what a cute adventurous kid roaming in the wild. I got surprised today seeing u. At first I thought u look familiar then going back to ur channel seeing that eel vdo reminded me. Happy to see u

Hey Miller just a quick tip with the drone. Your controller antennas should go straight up and not point out as they work like a TV station tower and pointing them up should increase the range. Watch out for large chickens though 😜

I was SO thrilled to you had posted another quality video today! It was very informative and interesting. I did fear for you walking barefoot at nighttime, though. One misstep and wham...possible bite from some poisonous species. But then I remembered who you are and what you know and knew I could trust your survival instincts to see you safely through the journey.
As for your next video, I do not know your vast area well enough to suggest anything. I'll watch anything you choose to post, but I am partial to content involving snakes. Especially pythons and other non- poisonous species. I love watching you handle these animals.
I saved your merch website and have started saving to purchase your camo t-shirt. I WILL get one sometime soon.
Thank you, mate, for another educational outing in your neck of the world! You are such a pleasant dude to watch and listen to. Be safe and stay wild!
