IDK about any of this. I want to know why he let my half brother get killed on a motorcycle at age 23.....yet allowed me to be born & still be here? None of this makes any sense. If he can do anything,....why are churches constantly asking for money? Why do u need a man made structure with other humans to talk to God? Also, God knows us & created us with advanced foresight.....so why are we telling him the feelings & emotions he already knows we have? Also.....the speaker said God "was the one person" away....God is not a person so why use that analogy? Sorry there's so many contradictions here.
I honestly don’t know a lot myself. But I do know that God loves me. I don't know why He allowed your brother to die or my family members either but I know He is good because He laid down His life for all our sakes in the form of Jesus. He was rejected, heavy with sorrow and anguish, abandoned by God and man, though He did nothing wrong and we did everything wrong so we could be restored to God. Surely, He cares for us.

You don't need a man made structure to talk to God. You can pray anywhere.
