Chifuyu _does_ give me shojou boy vibes, he's the classic 'badboy' who picked up a kitten in the rain, he's also the heroine who's devoted to someone he admires, _and_ he's also the best wingman. If you listen to his song near the end, where he sings softer, it does sound like a ED from a romcom from the girl's perspective XD
